My family and I stayed at the Aristocrat Hotel for 3 days and had a wonderful experience! We booked a triple room and a double room, which were conveniently next to each other. Both rooms were very spacious and let in a lot of natural light. We didn't hear any street noise nor any noise from any of the other...

Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Quickly booked a airport transfer and assisted with small issues. The room was quite large, modern and comfortable and the bathroom was well maintained. Definitely worth staying at and I will come again if I visit Istanbul!

It has a great position, not far from bleu mosque or Ragia Sophia. The staff are really nice and kind. If you wanna visit the Faith, you could be hear, near all the view and near T1(tram). I've just left there with my mom, we stayed 3 nights, but we will be back!

We stayed at the Aristocrat for a week in November. The location was ideal, a two minute walk from the Blue Mosque. Our room was cozy and neat. Breakfast was fairly standard. What really impressed me about the hotel was the friendliness of the staff, especially toward my six year old daughter. When we arrived, the hotel manager brought up...

I have stayed here twice and love this hotel for visiting Sultanahmet. It is a basic budget hotel room, a very inexpensive stay, but the location is phenomenal. Look out your window at at the Blue Mosque, a 90 second walk away. You can eat breakfast (free and a decent Turkish meal) on the rooftop patio with 360 degrees views...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
