Terrible breakfast, staff was not helpful at all, smells were horrific! The wall paper was coming off the walls and the sink was broken. The staff didn't offer any helpful information or actually acknowledge us at all. The breakfast was not fresh except maybe the bread and coffee. All in all it was not a great experience would absolutely NOT...

My husband and I arrived three days ago to check into Kupelipalace Palace hotel. Upon our arrival some of the recent reviews were confirmed. The wallpaper was coming off the walls and more alarming, was the hair on/in the bed. This was the first time we have ever actually taken our luggage and left. The receptionist was quite nice, but...

Dont know where they got the name Kupeli Palace from, it was a house with a wooden extension on it. The taxi driver had never heard of it, Ihad to give the name of the street. All I can say in its favour is that is was clean and the reception area is quite pleasant. There was no bar or...

We were two couples who'd booked for 4 nights but it took a good hour of negotiating on arrival to ensure we got the rooms we expected, i.e. reasonable size, air-con working. And then one of the room's toilet failed, and wasn't properly repaired. Apart from that, the hotel is a charmingly converted town house in the Old Town, a...

I went to this hotel with my wife and 2 1/2 yr old daughter wanting something that wasn't too expensive and was close to the historical sites of sultanahmet. We were very surprised with the cleanliness of the hotel and the service which the staff provided. Would no hesitate to go back in the future.

I and my wife stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and we enjoyed our stay here quite well. We arrived at around 5 in the morning and at first we thought we had come to the wrong address or the taxi driver had another idea but all it was, was a big house that had been converted into a...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, had a warm welcome and smooth check-in/check-out, but the first room we were given upon arrival was very small, power sockets and air-conditioning did not work, and the door to the balcony wouldn’t lock. We asked for a room change and initially we were taken to another room with similar problems (no...

My wife, my daughter and I had a one-week enjoyable holiday in Istanbul at the end of April and beginning of May 2012. When we searched for a hotel in the Istanbul old city, we wanted to stay in a small-scale family-run hotel, instead of staying once again in one of the chain hotels in the west. We were attracted...
