The structure is well located in the heart of Sultanahmet within walking distance of the best places to visit in Istanbul. Our room had plenty of space even with two extra beds, and was equipped with a kitchen and a modern bathroom. All very clean. The breakfast was plentiful with excellent typical products, memorable the yogurt, but there was also...

We stayed at the Aura Apart for 4 nights, the 1st night in a small room, but then he moved us to the apartment (for the same price!) for the next 3 nights of our stay. We had a lovely room with a balcony (beautiful view), a modern bathroom and a kitchen. The train was noisy during the day and...

The hotel is nicely located in a place close to major attractions and restaurants. The interior design of the apartment is nice with the basic amenities and a kitchenette (we stayed in a suite). But we were not told that the hotel was actually next to a tramway with trams running until 23:30 every night.

We booked this hotel for 4 nights and we had the surprise upon arrival that our room was not available for the first night as they had already somebody there so they moved us to a closer hotel in the street but of much lower category. It was really a bad start and we had to discuss later on with...

In fact I like it very much, excellent location, very clean, godd breakfast, and so helpful staff especially Sulyman and Taner who both were very nice, kind, professional and helpful 2 slight problems: the sound of the train which passes next to the hotel, the second problem is: it's little bit difficult to find the hotel for the first time...

We had a terrific stay. It is really near to Sultanahmet Mosque. Also a relatively short ride from Ataturk Airport. The staff is great, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, and receptionist very helpful. The only problem is the rail by side with the hotel, so light sleeper should avoid. Our room had a good view to the see and...

The hotel is in very good location - 5 minutes walk to Hagya Sophia and Blue Mosque. Appartments are nice and clean, all newly renovated. Staff is very helpful, also arrangement of the pick-up from the airport was without problems. I would not recommend the sea view rooms as there is a frequent train line just below the hotel.

Great hotel to spend a few days in Instambul, even one week. Very good relationship between quality and cost. Very good situated, five minutes walk to the Sultanahmet place, Santa Sofia, Blue Mosque... Five minutes walk to T1 (Tranvia line) wich brings you to the Grand Bazar, Galata Tower, Istambul Bridge, ferrys, etc. Staff is absolutely great, very helpful, and...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
