I'd thoroughly recommend this fabulous little hotel. Right in the heart of the old town, spotless neat and tidy rooms - perfect for using as a base to explore Istanbul. The staff were outstanding, really helpful and went above and beyond to help us. I in fact left my camera in the car during my transfer from the hotel to... More

We stayed at the Sarnic Premier for 4 days and thought it was very good, mainly due to its location. The rooms are small and clean, ideal for a holiday spent sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the downside there was no English TV stations, although we were assured each day that BBC would be avaiable. It... More

Tripadvisor reviews helped me book this place and my experience was quite good. The airport pickup was ready when we arrived and we reached the hotel in no time. Sarnic premier is actually not a separate hotel but located in the same compound with the Sarnic Hotel. The rooms are small as are everywhere else in the historic area of... More

Istanbul has always been a city I wanted to discover and visit for its great history. I was in Istanbul last month and I was so happy. I fell in love with Istanbul. I stayed at Sarnic Hotel in Sultanahmet during my visit. Sarnic Hotel is quite close to the city centrum. It's so clean, contemporary, and comfortable. I would... More

Where to start? We had an absolutely great stay of 9 days. This was a very convenient location and we used it as home base. We had a lovely room and the breakfasts were a delight with quite an array of foods. I was travelling with my adult son and daughter and we stayed in an immaculate triple room with... More

I guess our stay at the Sarnic Premier was made all the better by the fact we were upgraded to the hotel's suite but everything about the Sarnic Premier was good. Location was brilliant - only a 2 min walk from the Blue Mosque and lots of eating options. Reception staff were very helpful and breakfast buffet had lots of... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
