When i first arrived to this hotel i was a bit dissapointed because it s a very small hotel with a small reception and small elevator The rooms were also small. But you know what the cleanliness and the good service provided by the hotel staff makes you forget about how small it s and we ended up enjoying our...

Having to leave early from another hotel nearby where the noise and boiling hot room prevented me from sleeping, I checked in to the Nova Plaza with fingers crossed, and regret I did not stay here all the time. For an absolutely reasonable price you get perfect location just off Taksim square and the metro, on a pedestrian street, clean...

My wife and I spent 3 nights there. Overall, we were happy with our hotel. It wasn't a luxury but it was clean and organized. Plus, the staff was friendly. The free WiFi was good. In addition, the free safe box was digital and convenient. The breakfast was very good.

This hotel is near Taksim Square which is the heart of the city and you have easy access to other places. There is an metro station there which I suggest to anyone to use. You can also take cabs which are plentiful but don't forget to haggle as much as you can. Don't forget to walk on Istiklal Avenue which...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
