This is a nice boutique hotel in Taksim, Istanbul. It is clean and the rooms are nice, with a big comfortable bed and a nice big shower as well. It is non-smoking throughout. The staff were a bit non-responsive, but ok in the end - I had an issue with the cable tv not working and it took them 20...

This hotel is located in a side street of the main shopping street to Taksim square, the location is therefore very central. We got an upgraded room, probably because the hotel wasn't fully booked. The disadvantage of the room however was that it was located on the street side with night clubs in front of it. Although the rooms are...

It's nice hotel with respectful size rooms. We had two beds connected together, which looked like one giant bed, and it was very comfortable. Shower is so big that you can literally walk inside. We loved it. Wifi was not very fast, but as we discovered later, it was the fastest comparing to other hotels we've been in Turkey. Still...

Spent 3 nights in this lovely hotel. The hotel ia very close to Taksim square (around 600 meters). The cleanliness of the hotel, the management and its hospitality makes it one of the best hotels. On the day of our arrival, we've been upgraded to a superior room (free of charge). The room was perfect and got cleaned every day....

Stayed in the hotel for holidays with my husband, and found it to be a great experience. Starting from the location, it is just few minutes from Istiklal Street. The staff was awesome, our special thanks to Ömer Kaan Aydın, and also there was a girl at the reception, very friendly and nice person. These guys without any obtrusiveness somehow...

With only 17 rooms spread over 6 floors, this hotel is intimate & a stones throw to Istiklal St. & a short but amazing walk up to Taksim Square. We experienced two different rooms. Firstly, a room at the back with a huge bed that took up most of the room. Then we had a double bed in a room...

Just few hundreds meter from Taksim square and few steps away from Istiklal Avenue, this hotel is quiet and based on conveniently placed. Room was comfortable (I had been upgraded for free compared to the original booked one), clean and medium size. Wi-Fi was available for free while there is no possibility of having breakfast despite of the fact there...

What a great place! Great location right in the heart of Taksim. So many great restaurants and bars right outside the front door. When I arrived, I was upgraded to penthouse unit, amazing. Beautiful sea views from my private terrace. Large sitting room, fireplace and beautifully decorated, very modern and earthy. I was there alone for my birthday and the...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
