Very good location with Taksim square and istiklal street near by. I booked a 2nd category room (middle option) I was told that is full so they upgraded me free to the biggest category room. But the room given to us was small, so it left me wondering about the smallest room size. Rooms and washrooms were clean and well...

I stayed their for one week and it was really great place to be. The hotel used to have Breakfast but for some reason they stop it few months back. Its small hotel with 6 floors but really nice Decoration. The rooms are big enough and very clean. Bed sheet and below and bed are convertible. The staff are fabulous...

The good things are that the hotel location is good and there is a tour office and a pharmacy next to it, there is a cold store also behind the hotel opposite it. It directly takes you to Taksim Square and only 4-5 minutes away from Istiqlal Road. Staff was polite and helpful and they provide good advice. But the...

This hotel is so modern and their rooms are well designed and decorated. The staff was friendly. I totally recommend it for short and long stays. The location is perfect as it is steps to Isitiklal avenue however it is not in crowd and noisy area. Their rates are perfect considering all excellent factors. This was the same recommendation received...

Stayed here over Easter 2016, we found all the staff helpful. Small reception area with bar and breakfast area. They will order you pizza from Dominos as there is no evening food service. It's not great. Usual Turkish style buffet breakfast, cereal, toast, bread, yoghurt, fruit and vegetables, cheese meat and some hot stuff. Very helpful waitress will bring you anything...

Nice hotel, very functional, had a great stay and would recommend it to others. I got not the smallest room but the bigger one, and was happy I did. My friend also got a room and we were next door to each other which was good.

This is a peaceful and friendly hotel and I can suggest it to other travellers too. It is situated next to Taksim and very easy to reach. It has modern premises, nice rooms and good service. It attracts a certain kind of a traveller, a traveller who want everything to happen easily, who want to feel welcome and who do...

Our stay at the Hotel was absolutely awful. None of the staff could speak english, and deliberately spoke in Turkish, knowing we could not understand the language. They went out of their way to avoid conversation and most of the time, their tone was quite rude. In addition to that, we had purchased a painting which was STOLEN from our...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
