the Darkhill has a great staff, very nice and comfortable rooms, a little noise but not a problem. The addition of the spa/pool/turkish bath is nice and helps make this an even better value--we could really relax after walking for hours! Would be happy to stay again.

This is a few steps up from a basic hotel and rooms are quiet. Steps from Istanbul Unoveristy, tram, metro, grand bazaar and blue mosque make location very appealing. Drawbacks are slow wifi and a very standard breakfast (I was tired of it after two days). However it fit the bill and I would stay there again

Not a pleasant stay. For one thing, the hotel web site says they have air condition. They do not. Not what Americans call air conditioning. So you have to open the window or you will have a stiffling room. We were on the front of the hotel and the street noise was awful and continued almost all night. There were...

If location is important to you, then this is a really good hotel. Just up the street is the tram, but if you like walking, then you can easily get to the Grand Bazaar, Aya Sofya and Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque). We didn't care much for the first room they gave us, but they agreed to change our room without...

A pleasant surprise for this fairly inexpensive ($60/night) hotel about a mile walk or tram ride from most of the major sights. The neighborhood is pleasant but is mostly a shopping area for Turks, but the property is on the top of a hill with great views of most of the city. Less than a mile by tram or walk...

The hotel was quiet with comfortable bed and attentive and obliging staff. Bathroom very clean and well equipped. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, but the dining area was spacious and had a magnificent view.

It is an amazing hotel. Good staff in all the floors (reception, room service, waiters all the workers are simply wonderful). Not to mention the amazing decor, designs and colors used in this hotel, they are not the best but I found them amazing, soft and relaxing. This hotel has delicious breakfast dishes. Simply an astonishing hotel. Keep going!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning and 2 at the end of my holiday and Turkey. The first stay was marred by the awkwardness of the location to get to by car and bus, and by the lack of easy to locate, good restaurants and shopping nearby. For the second stay, knowing these shortcomings, we...

We stayed here for 5 nights as part of a Bunnik (Talisman?) tour. While the experience was not awful, the four star rating of the hotel is misleading.
