My partner and I arrived at check in to be told there was no sign of our booking and we had to wonder the streets until they 'figured it out' (we should have seen the red flag right there!!). After a couple hours we went back and the guy had found us a dorm and we checked in. When I...

Great place topped off by great staff! Hussein and Ahmed are godsends at helping you plan your time in Istanbul. They're knowledgable about everything from sights, to ferry schedules to a good Turkish bath. There won't be a question they can't answer. Multilingual and easy going too! Melim is a fun starter spreading a good vibe to the guests. Dinners...

My friends and I stayed at the harmony hostel a few days ago and we were pretty happy with it. It's clean, good location and the free breakfast is delish. The only issues we had were that the wifi was really bad and the staff (except bar who were awesome) were unhelpful. The guysthat worked the desk were unhelpful and...

If you need a low budget hostel in Istanbul, you can stay here. Surrounded by many stores and also most of the famous spots in the city, its easy access by tran or ferry boat. A rooftop bar with a common makes it easy to interact with others. Ensuite dorm rooms are clean and have enough space.

I and a friend recently stayed at the Harmony Hostel for three days. Each room has one bathroom with a toilet and shower and the facilities were kept clean. The best play to relax though, was the rooftop terrace. Every morning a free breakfast is served, and the cook will also make eggs upon request. In the evenings homecooked meals...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
