Took my husband here for 4 nights as a birthday treat before going for a longer stay after to Antalya. Beautiful boutique hotel - even better then the pics. Fantastic service from all staff members, cleaners etc and great location. Guest relations were brilliant with communication prior to arrival and arranged a shuttle bus back to airport for 40 TL...

Husband and i really loved our stay. The views from the breakfast room are still on my mind, and I loved how comfortable and lovely our room was. The staff is also very helpful. The hotel is near many of the tourist attractions, and is a pretty good location to be based out of. I could sit in that breakfast...

My experience at Darussaade is great, apart from all the good comments from others guests which I totally agree, I just add 2 more good points : it's so quite at night a good night sleep is guaranteed, and also an absolutely safe neighborhood !! if I have to say one thing that can be improved : it's the breakfast,...

The location is perfect, very close to blue mosque, even you can see it in some rooms. And the staff are very helpful and kindness. The decoration of the room is very classic and gorgeous. It worth your second visit.

I choosed this hotel after long reading on TripAdvisor all the comments were good. But unfortunately this the first time I get deceived by TripAdvisor. The service is so good, staff is amazing more than that there is nothing exceptional, very small room, old fournirures, breakfast not that great at all with limited choice especially if you have kids. While...

Apart from confortable, clean and non expensive... this cute hotel offers you a sense of hospitality we really enjoyed. The room perfectly decorated, with brass bed, wooden floors and a great marble Turkish like bathroom. Now add a nice breakfast at the terrace with the Blue Mosque in the background... and of course a staff always helpful; that's how you...

Went there with my wife, my 9 months old son, and my mother-in-law. We booked one double deluxe room and one single room. I left a note when booking to include a baby cot in our double deluxe room for my 9 months old son and found it ready when I checked in. The staff were very friendly, they love...

Very clean and quiet place tucked away inside the old city and very easily accessible by walk to all the important and the main heritage location like the blue mosque, Sophia Museum & topkapi place. The rooms are very clean and the staff are exceptionally warm and very helpful people. Their Reception/front office manager Mr Ahyan is simply wonderful, any...

Enjoyed our stay in this hotel - the staff, especially Ayhan and Ismail were very helpful and accommodating. We were given a few rooms to choose from on our arrival with different views of the area. We chose rooms with views of the Sultanahmet Mosque which made our stay especially memorable! My only criticisms of the rooms would be that...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
