The location is great, 15min walk to Taksim square... room is average, with lot of unfinished, sloppy touches (as seen in photos) We were shocked with hygiene and cleanliness, the toilet bowl had markings of urine, and even the next day after cleaning lady finished with our room it waited us again. This affected our overall impression. Breakfast was great,... More

Good location close to the swedish consulate, shopping and Taksim square. The hotel itself is modern but a little torn. The door to the toilet did not close (room 308) and the card key had to be recharged in the lobby every day since it did not work when we got back after a day of sightseeing.

The peak hotel is a 4* hotel at a great location 5min walk to Galata tour and next to Pera palace. The room is luxurious with conform and calm stay. We have enjoyed the buffet breakfast great selection for a 4 star hotel but nothing special. The only negative thing is the worst hospitality ever. Very rude staff at the... More

Nice staff. We faced pluming problem and Nagaat helped immediately, finishing by those words: thank you for understanding us. Intermediate position, close to metro station and istiklal street. If you stay there, don't include breakfast, better to try the flavor of the city.

A very good choice for anyone who wants to visit the city for business reasons. Very good location, in Pera, not far from Taksim square. It is very helpful that there is a taxi station right outside the hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The location is excellent, about 50m from Istiklal Cad. where you will find a lot of shops. There are many bars, cafes and restaurant in the streets surrounding the hotel . A taxi stop is just outside the hotel, so it is easy to get around. Not really that far from the big attractions on... More

We were there for 7 days. We had a comfort room. The hotel's staff were really polite, friendly and helpful, also the cashier understands and speaks English well enough. Once we had a problem with CA and the staff did their best to fix it. The location was great and near the Istiklal street. The room was clean but small.... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
