very nice and elegant place along with welcoming and friendly staff, room size is a bit a problem but this is something that can be overlooked especially when spending most of the time enjoying Istanbul

We came to Istanbul prior to having an operation for a couple of days. The staff could not have been kinder, from upgrading our room due to the fact that we would be unable to use the spa facilities and would need to rest. Good breakfast that kept us going until evening. Superb position in Istanbul centre, marvellous locantasi close...

Don't go to Sirkeci Park Hotel. The service is awful, just one employee speaks in English and he would try to sell you everything. He wouldn't call us a taxi to go to the airport, because he got a friend that does the service and charges you double. Beds are incredibly small and our room had a broken wall.

The hotel is located at a perfect location, very close the Sirkeci subway station which allows you to go anywhere and it is one stop away from the Asian side of the Bosphorus, tram stations are very close as well and the Sultanahmet square is just around the corner. There are some good restaurants just a minute away. The staff...

The room wasn't very big - but always clean with all the necessary things. Breakfast was included and more than enough to start a busy day. Walking distance to all main attractions and great restaurants nearby. I especially want to thank the staff - the young men were extremely helpful and friendly - their names: Burak, Muhhamet, Selguk, Husseyin, Ayse....

It's near the major monuments and the tram line but away from all the city noise, so you will be able to get a good night sleep. I went there with my brother and straight away they arranjed a room with 3 beds. The room itself was not particularly impressive, but it was clean, comfortable and well worth the money...

I booked a family room with Jetted tube but I was given a double bed to share with hubby and baby. The next day I was told I am getting a bigger room with Jetted tube but I was given a twin room and I was told there are no other rooms available. I was there to celebrate my wedding...

Fabulous little hotel in the centre with all attractions and restaurants right on the doorstep. The rooms are quite small but as with many older buildings it all forms part of the charm. Staff were attentive and helpful, they assisted us with booking one of our day trips and sorted out our airport transfers very efficiently. Breakfast was plentiful and...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
