We travelled to Istanbul in August from London and as a family we loved every minute of our holiday. The transfers to the hotel can be arranged at the airport and we found it to be much cheaper then what we would have paid from our side here. There is ample to do and see in the city and our... I had managed to make the wrong booking by mistake and did not realise it was not cancellable. After a few e-mails back and forth, the hotel agreed to refund the charges despite being within their rights not to do so. I just wanted to say they were awesome and understanding in helping a family out.

It is very well located, with swimming pool, nice hamam (romain bath), descent room size, lovely staff, good price balance. The food, well, my wife and I are not big fan of turkish food to be honest, so I will not comment the breakfast, we had toast and coffee only. I would recommend this hotel.

I have booked this hotel for the second time. The location is perfect, easily to travel from Ataturk airport and also walking distance to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque (around 25mins) or there is direct tram link, plus you can use metro (around 10mins walk). There are also many other sightseeing closed by, mostly mosques but with historical elements (build circla... More

I stayed 6 nights at this hotel this November. To be fair I write both negative and positive points. Negative points: They DO NOT give you the service they promised at all. For example in room facilities it was written that there is an electric kettle in the room but it wasn’t and we asked 24 times to finally received... More

Staying in Grand Bazaar

Neighbourhood Profile
Grand Bazaar
Tourists, hawkers, and locals come together at the Grand Bazaar to comb its labyrinthine passageways in search of a bargain – be it a pair of brand name jeans, a handcrafted silk rug, or a perfectly brewed cup of tea. Outside the vast bazaar, worn, narrow streets wind their way down from its lofty perch to the southern shore of the Golden Horn, where the evocatively aromatic Spice Bazaar beckons alongside the elegant New Mosque (opened in 1665). Nearby, the famed Galata Bridge offers pedestrian access to urban delights across the river in Istanbul’s more residential and contemporary neighbourhoods, while the must-see sights of Sultanahmet are but a leisurely stroll away.
