Booked Triada Hotel because of its location and I wasn't disappointed. I had been in Istanbul before but nowhere near Istiklal Avenue, that pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants and a mixture of old and new buildings. The hotel is literally just a few steps from Istiklal. I love that street! It's so lively and happening every tourist must...

I have just returned from my stay at the TRIADA hotel in Taksim. Completely disappointed with this hotel. BE WARY AND AVOID BOOKING A STAY HERE. I had lost my bag with valuable items during my stay and approached the reception to ask them about it- after two days they eventually suggested looking through the CCTV. To my dismay, the...

Nice, clean, and spacious room. The staff members we interacted with were both friendly. The only thing I felt would benefit the room would be a shower mat, as I found the shower floor quite slippery. As it was a boutique hotel, it was a bit squeezy at breakfast due to the limited space. The other thing to note that...

ROOMS IN THE BUILDING WITH A NIGHT CLUB BE AWARE: FALSE ADVERTISING Triada Hotel owns some rooms located in a separate building approximately 50 m away from the main hotel off the Istiklal street (main shopping street in Istanbul). Unfortunately, they are in the same building as the LUPE night club, fantastic if you plan on clubbing all night, not...

Nice boutique hotel with perfect location at the beginning of the istiklal street, few minutes walk from the train station, has a pharmacy, mobile store, restaurants, exchange just at the doorstep. When planning our trip, we wanted to stay on the istiklal street and found this hotel on booking.com. We booked the penthouse. The room was spacious with a terrace,...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
