We stayed on the top floor, corner room with views all over the city. It is much better staying on the Taksim side. The customer service is incredible. We like to walk so we walked all over the city by going over the Galata Bridge. You will see so much local culture and activity. The breakfast that they have is...

Very friendly . helpful staff, hotel is in a good location close to Taksim Square, was offered an upgrade to a Bosphorus view room for an extra 20 euros per night. Room was very nice, internet was free and ok, only thing that was a little disappointing was the breakfast. Lovely restaurant downstairs.

Choose this boutique hotel and you will not be wrong. A hotel in great location with ideal size,it is not chaotic like big chains hotels and not so small to can not offer every service you need. Very helpfull staff. Must choose vosporus view room.

This was our second stay at the Gezi Hotel. Everything from the pick up from the airport to the rooms was perfect. Got a very pleasant surprise at check-in when we were upgraded to a suite with the Bosphorus view. The hotel is centrally located at Taksim Square. Nearby shopping and restaurants are great and the adjacent park is one...

The hotel is new, modern and conveniently located to Taksim Square and other tourist attractions. There are several dining locations nearby and the hotel has a nice restaurant with a view of the water.

Right beside Taksim square and Gezi park, it has easy access to restaurants& bars, subway station and funicular to sea-side area. Bosphorus at night out of the window is something you cannot help staring at. Room was clean and comfortable. Fitness room was a bit too small.

We came as platinum ambassador SPG guests and got upgraded to their junior suite, the room was comfortable, amazing view but slightly on the smaller side, the check in was effortless and the welcome was warm. I recommend this for a central / taksim location.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
