Small rooms (we had a twin and then a double for a night each) that are outdated and slightly smelly. Super-loud aircondition and mold on walls and ceiling in both of our rooms' bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful - they will happily call a taxi for you because the next metro station and everything else is quite a long...

Tashkent is a very large city, everything is spread out. So walking to restaurants or other venues, is really feasible, especially if you are only in the city for a short time. This hotel is close the the airport but not much else. The rooms are clean and large, as is the bathroom. Breakfast is iffy at best....the items are...

I stayed at the Hotel Grand Orzu for one night in December 2014. Well it was not a whole night, as I had an early morning flight and I had to leave the hotel at 1.a.m. But that was a reason that I booked it, as it is just a 5 minutes drive to the international airport. It was the...

Aside from the helpful English language speaking young lady on reception, this hotel has little to recommend it. The street noise, barking dogs, crowing rooster and slamming doors on the 3 occasions we stayed there made sleep impossible. Rooms are clean but very worn. The carpet in the room is horrible. Breakfast was the saddest we've seen in Uzbekistan.

My wife and I stayed here two nights at the end of our Uzbekistan trip. We found the hotel unpleasant in every possible way. The room was old, worn and smelly, the fittings and appliances broken or dysfunctional. Worst of all, the staff was extremely unfriendly, without the slightest hint of a smile. The whole establishment had the typical "Soviet"...

even for Uzbekistan standards. Our room smelled like cigarettes, we were not sure whether there was an air condition. Bathroom needs some renovation. The staff was very friendly though that's why I grant them two points.

Went on a business trip, and the choice was made based on the location, which was close to my place of work. The hotel is in a very quiet, safe street off one of the main avenues, and in the immediate vicinity, there are a number of very stylish ethnic restaurants (and a very trendy nightclub). For the price paid,...

We arrived late at night, so the small pool was no use for us. This was the second hotel we stayed in Tashkent and both were the same price, and tI can say that there are many times better options in Tashkent with the same money. The reception itself was looking like it had remained the same from the soviet...
