Stayed for two nights! An awesome experience. Friendly staff and great ambience. The room is spacious with all amenities. Supermarket and shops pretty closeby. The inhouse restaurant has an option for meal to be served in the room. Loved the papaya juice very much!

The hotel is in one of the beautiful hotels we stayed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms we got was very clean and comfortable with a fresh feeling. Breakfast was good with a good local fruits .Wifi worked fine and had a very good . it is in a very busy area with shops super markets restaurants and public buses are available just in front of this hotel.the travel desk service is superb to arrange excursions to Colombo city tours. Tuk tuks are easy to find to go for dinners close by.New Capital sri Jayawardanapura is very close to the hotel.A/c hot water showers are very good.The bathroom is nice tile decorated.nice place in the city.

We were promptly picked up from Bandaranayake International Airport. Journey to this Boutique Hotel took an hour due to some traffic along the way. Richmond House is located in Nugegoda area facing Keells supermarket. So if you need to pick up some groceries and necessities its convenient. If you head on to the right of the hotel and pass a big traffic junction, opposite you'll find a couple of restaurants, approximately 15 minutes walk. If you head left and keep walking you'll reach loads of shops and a big flyover. This area is busy with shops from MacDonald's, Domino's Pizza and Burger King. It took us 40 minutes to get there.
Richmond House is only 20 minutes away from Colombo City centre by tuk tuk. Our host, the son in law of the owner was very helpful in arranging the tuk tuk for us and answering all our questions.
The deluxe room that we stayed in was fairly priced,clean, well furnished and had both air-con and fan. Shower and toilet was well appointed. Breakfast was great and the boys preparing it did a great job. Food was fresh and we were introduced to buffalo curd with treacle. Which my wife got addicted to. Its that good.

We booked this hotel for 3 night to explore around Colombo city.well its not located in the center of Colombo city but very convenient since its facing a main road with plenty of buses and tuk tuk`s to catch anytime.specially by bus(bus no 138) its only 1 bus ride to Colombo city and back to hotel.Its a small hotel with only 5 rooms,rooms are very clean and the staff here are so friendly. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor with some good selections. opposite the hotel is a big supermarket with all you need.we highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for the last 3 nights of my trip to Sri Lanka, would recommend this hotel for any person traveling to Colombo . The hotel management and staff are always on hand to help with any little request or offer advice on places to eat / visit and will organise transport if requested. The rooms are very well kept and clean and give this hotel 10/10 defiantly use again if I was to return to Colombo without a doubt .

Stayed 2 nights here this week in the presidential suite. Big room, airconditioning, hot tub in the bathroom. The manager was very helpful with advice for travelling around Colombo and booking accommodation for us in Kandy. A bit out of Colombo city but only about 400 rupees to get to the city by tuk tuk. Service was great, would stay here again.

All throughout our travel in Sri Lanka, the staff had been unwilling, discourteous, ignorant and careless despite the price we were paying. But at this hotel - a bit out of the way, 30min by tuk tuk to Fort - we get individual attention. Our requests for Sri Lankan breakfasts surpassed our expectation and we had one of the best meals during our trip at this hotel. We wish that we had more room in our stomachs, then we could have had dinners at the hotels too!
The room is clean and very big. The gentleman who manages the hotel is extremely nice and thoughtful! He would give directions to the tuk tuk drivers for you, suggest breakfast menus and all.
The fact that there was a huge Keell's supermarket right across the road was a bonus.

Stayed 2 nights at this 5 room hotel recently in April 2016. The location is towards the southern suburbs of Colombo, about 9-10 kms from the city center. It's on high level road on the main road, so it gets a tad noisy with the traffic on the main road, however the rooms face the other side, so the traffic noise is only mild in the background and not really a source of disturbance. There's a Keells Supermarket right across the road and some eateries - nothing to write home about.
I was promptly picked up by the hotel taxi on arrival at the airport at CMB. Had prearranged this ride and it costs approx US$ 30. The rooms are huge, very clean and the bed super comfortable. Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Dinner is until 10 p.m. only, so if you are arriving late make sure you grab a bite. The manager was kind enough to get the driver to take me to a nearby restaurant for a meal since I arrived at 10.45 p.m.
The staff are super helpful and will go out of your way to help you and make your stay comfortable. Definitely recommended - great value at a very decent rate. Internet was a bit patchy - that could be sorted by adding some boosters. Other than that nothing really anything that comes close to a negative.

If you're staying in Colombo, or just passing through, this hotel is a great option. The rooms are big, clean, and nicely decorated, but what really puts this hotel over the top is how fast and friendly their service is. They arranged multiple taxis for me to and from the cultural triangle, as well as to the airport from Colombo train station, even though I wasn't even staying with them that day. All the taxi rates they provided were lower than what others quoted, and they also helped a ton with general trip info and advice. Thanks for everything!
