I have been to Global Towers a couple of times for work purpose. This is a good mid-scale property based in CMB which is very much affordable for travelers. Staff is very attentive, kind and lovely and would do anything beyond their capacity to meet the customer requirements. Food is average but would still need some improvements. All in all a great place.

Ideal place for group accommodation having two & three bedroom apartments with good size living room. Old property but reasonably maintained, on busy road & rail track hence lot of traffic sound which may disturb sleep. Breakfast was not good experience, service was not good may be because of next day of new year event. Conveniently located near to business & shopping area. Easy to get public transport and taxi, Friendly staff.

Friendly staff, spacious and very reasonable. Rooms have sea views. Maintenance has to be looked into as it is old and equipment and surroundings need more care along with basic supplies being available in the kitchenette and rooms such as tea/coffee etc. However room service staff brought us multiple packets later ☺️

We checked in here today but was very disappointed from reception to room. I have medication to store, on opening the fridge in the room the fridge was flooding. Went to see reception. Sent a staff that just wipe off the water in the fridge. Within few hours the fridge is flooding again. The shower head is full of mould. The sink outlet is layered with slim. For a hotel supposingly to be one of few reputable ones is very disappointing.Even the shower handle is not insulated half the way. See the pictures attached. The price charged is not justified for the products offered.

We wanted to book a triple room & was led to a 2 bed apartment- great! We paid Rs 36,682 ( £154 not inc breakfast) for two nights. We expected high standards for that amount if money instead our apartment is dated, dirty, & quite an insult really. The bathroom has a plastic dirty bath, the wall tiles are badly in need of replacing as are the showers. The doors throughout are filthy with grubby hand marks and discoloured paint. The balcony hasn't been swept or washed in years I'd say. The headboards are chipped, exposed nails & holes. The mattress is clean thank goodness but no protector. The telephone hand set appears to have something growing on the ear piece. The kitchen doesn't have a hob - as it's an apartment one might expect it to as well as crockery. Really disappointed, would not recommend.

The standard of this accommodation is really poor. One of the worst we’ve stayed in. Filthy with small insects running around the floor and some present on the sheets. Broken window, stained and broken lampshade, general decor in a really poor state of disrepair. Wouldn’t sleep with the light off due to the insect situation but the electrical connection to the lamp was a health and safety hazard, so opted to leave tv on instead. This brightness coupled with the extremely loud aircon did not enable me to sleep at all.
How this constitutes as a 4 star hotel is completely beyond me. I have stayed in 3 star hotels with a much, much higher spec. We booked on the strength of the internet pictures which are completely misleading. Have absolutely no idea how booking.com are confident enough to promote this hotel. Think their representatives should pay a visit.

Stayed at Global towers for a one night with my family as we had to wait for a flight back to India. Here's what i made of this hotel (??): 1. Room: They did not give us a normal hotel room, instead he gave us a kind of a serviced apartment. While the apartment was servicable and clean, it surely wasn't the room I was hoping for. It had two tiny rooms with attached washrooms. Both rooms had TV installed. The room also had a kettle and one of the windows overlooked the beach and the marine drive. Overall just about a manageable room. As this was merely to spend the night, we did not fuss too much about it. 2. Location: Great location. Right on the marine drive, overlooking the beach. In the morning we took a stroll on the beach. Also, there are good places to eat nearby, including a restaurant called Beach Wadiya. 3. Food: We just had breakfast here which was disappointing. Very limited buffet and that too took a long time in coming. Although there were few people, we still had to wait to get the food. They were also very stingy in handing out the bowls. Overall a poor experience. 4. Overall: I don't think i would recommend anyone to go back. Unless their rooms are in a different league (which I would never know since i wasn't given one!), no need to spend the money on this one.

Apartment is not cleaned. Spotted small cockroaches in the kitchen. Whole hotel is very poorly maintained. Whatever breaks is fixed or replaced with some cheap workaround, sometimes just simply left as is. Staff were helpful only while checking in and out with luggage carrying. we asked for some plates and it never arrived in 4 days. We asked for a broom 4 times in 1 day and it never arrived. almost all channels on the TV are lagging or out totally. Hotel WiFi is not usable. I'm sure this used to be a grand place, but it's now a wreck due to incredibly low maintenance.

We stayed in a three-bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and adequate for our needs. Staff were very responsive when we had an issue with the A/C in one of the rooms. Location is great and as we had a balcony facing the seafront, a great view too.

Took Uber from the airport, arrived in about 50 minutes, LKR4420 (about 2000 yen). The building is a little old and the room is normal, but the view of the sea is amazing. Comfortable bed, shower with perfect water pressure and temperature control, toilet with hand washlet, Wi-Fi is fast. There are many supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. Hi. Nope, here is one place that you can't pre book as far as I know for any spa treatment. Also, it is only a basic spa. It doesn't seem to be therepy related. I suggest you look into the treatment related spas which are not in the hotels and are stand alone brick and mortar ones. They are the ones to offer you therapy. Well, I could be wrong here. So please don't hold me to it. Also, hotel Galadhari has a spa which is known to be good. That's all I know about the spas in hotels.
You will need to ask your questions to Global Towers. I do not know the answers because our friends paid for the room - we were their guests. But you can also get this information by googling Global Towers and entering the details on their web page - you can do this without having to go to the section where you have to pay.
