I choose this place by looking at the their social media pages,and decided to come to spend my best friends birthday weekend upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We had a wonderful experience . Every staff member I encountered, from the bell men to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help!
And then was the biggest suprise at the reception where i got to met one of my friend who studied with me from kindergarten to secondary school whom I haven't seen and had no contact for nearly about 7 years working as a receptionist at Maradha. This made my day even more special Special mention -: Front desk staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful I should mention that Imran whom I talked over the phone and he who made my reservation , Receptionist kavindu ,sasara, & Mr.Vishwa/wishwa Have us a great service.
Rooms were very spacious ,clean and were really Cozy indeed.The views from the room was really good and justifying as per the category of room which we selected. (Partial city and sea) eye-catching interior designs at the Royal code Restaurant, Healing cafe and sky yard adds extra colour to the property
Watching the city lights from the 9th floor while the chilling breez which passes by at night And the music playlist which was played at the roof top sky yard really gave a groovy vibe
On the other side when it comes to dinning there was no dinner buffet on the day we checked in (Friday) and food we ordered from à la cartewere really not worth the money we pay. And also at the breakfast buffet there were No much varieties at the spread as I expected.There could have been pastries , muffins and some cake items to be accompanied with tea, coffee Waffles were served upon request within quick time and it tasted good. Restaurant staffs were also so friendly and professional.pool closing time can be extended at least upto 7 pm. (Not as a complain but as a suggestion that it could be improved)

Now the taxes have been increased close to 30% these days and most of the cost goes as tax. The hotel is well placed for shopping being close to Galle Road and Majestic City. The staff were happy to help and understood English well. The roof area is superb being a mini version of Marina Sands Singapore rooftop. The restaurant is reasonably priced. The hotel is very modern with key card linked to lift usage. The only problem is that the air conditioning does not automatically restart when power is restored to the room. Consequently I had to restart it manually several times when a local outage occurred and the generator was used . You need to switch on the water heater before washing or showering.

I've been to the MaRadha Colombo hotel twice, when I arrived in Sri Lanka at the beginning of January and before I left. The service is perfect, and the staff are very attentive to our needs. The rooms are very quiet (double-glazed windows). We slept very well, the bedding was perfect. The breakfast buffet is very good. When I arrived, it was very early, around 8 a.m. They managed to find us a room because we were tired. The view of the sea is really incredible. What's more, there's a little roof-top restaurant-bar with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Frankly, it's the best hotel in Colombo. I highly recommend

The property is beautifully located right on the Marine drive, in front of the Indian Ocean. We had booked the Signature Sea Facing room and the room was even BETTER than what I had seen in the photos. Spacious, clean and a gorgeous view of the Ocean, the hotel has it all. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. Special thanks to Mr. Inshaf, Front Desk Executive, who took care of even our smallest need. I travelled along with my Mum and sister, and all of us were deeply satisfied with our stay. Important Information for anyone reading this: 1. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel ( a cafe, a buffet/ a la carte restaurant and a rooftop bar cum restaurant) and food options are plenty. The food is really good and comes at a reasonable price (as compared to other places that we explored). 2. The staff is extremely courteous and even arranges for sightseeing tours at different price. If anyone is taking a trip to Kandy, Pinawalla or Galle, ask for Mr. Udeesha. He is the best. We made two full day trips with him and honestly, it was the safest and warmest experience we have had ever. 3. The washrooms are clean and regular housekeeping is maintained. 4. While booking, select the sea facing rooms. It comes at a higher price than other rooms but definitely worth every penny. 5. Options for breakfast buffet is available. The spread is good 👍🏻

The view was most stunning from our Suite and the hospitality is top notch! Since we were on our honeymoon the hotel staff made our experience more specially by decorating our hotel bedroom and then also bringing us a complimentary cake for a small celebration!! Mr. Imran at the front desk was very kind to arrange everything, also, a special mention to the staffs quick response to our requests they made things available within few minutes of request. Rooms were clean and tidy, overall an amazing experience with MaRadha, would definitely recommend especially honeymooners and most likely would visit again just for the view & hospitality!!

This is a great hotel if you are in Colombo. The rooms are good with clean bathroom. The breakfast is very good and the breakfast room has very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast consists of sandwiches with sweets or cold cuts, hot dishes and rice, as well as fruit and cakes. Sanjeewan is extremely attentive to the guests and very polite and dedicated! He knows exactly what the guests want, this boy is TOP! There is also excellent staff at the reception. We had booked via booking.com, but please note that this hotel charges additional taxes (stated in the small print), also on the final bill. Downstairs in the hall there is also a cafe where you can have a drink and a simple snack. Upstairs on the 9th floor is a small swimming pool with 2 sun loungers and high tables with chairs around it. And also a kind of bar, where you can sit comfortably. Restaurant is on the 1st floor. This hotel has 2 stars, but deserves 3!!

Me and my wife,we went for a dinner. The location wise highly recommended,because specialty evening you get 360 view.and the roof top bar and restaurant was amazing.the prices bit higher and taxes were not mentioned on menu but final bill will comes to with 10% service charge and vat.
Food wise,we ordered one mutton biriyani and one mixed nasiguran,I haven’t seen any meat in biriyani but nasiguran was amazing.recommend for young couples and mid age people
