The room was very large and modern. The rooftop bar and pool was absolutely beautiful. A special mention to Lasith who serviced my room during my stay. He made it very special with the beautiful towel decorations left in the room each day (705). Would not have asked for better accomodation during my 10 day stay!

The Jetwing Colombo Seven at Ward Place is a great location!! We recently had a fundraising event at the Kynsey Hall.
We wish to thank Kanishka of F&B for his prompt and very efficient service, accommodating our every need effortlessly. He tailored the menu keeping in mind the vegetarians among us. It was a sumptuous tea/coffee buffet, served hot and served on time.
We like to specially thank Ishini from Banquet Sales for her prompt response and support. We would also like to thank the staff for their impeccable service.
The function hall is well maintained and the room is fully equipped with projection equipment and tastefully furnished.
We are receiving a lot of positive feedback from the guests of the events and they were very pleased with the food and the staff of the hotel.
All in all, it was very well organised - with all requirements met by the hotel. You will definitely see us again Jetwing Colombo Seven!

This was my second stay at Jetwing Colombo 07 and it was amazing as ever (even during a pandemic). Hotel staff is taking preventive measures right at the entrance, they check your temperature and give you sanitizers. They also have different containers to put used pens and new pens (yes, even slightest details like that). We booked a super deluxe room for a day use and the room was absolutely cosy and comfortable. It’s spacious than the deluxe room and has a tub in it. Loved the feeling of the entire stay. We initiated out holiday in Sri Lanka, with a two day stay on the Jetwing. Lets start with the good things: Hotel is more or less as advertised, rooftop infinity pool is nice, food is quite okay despite a bit of a shaky wine menu, rooms are clean and modern looking, and staff was generally helpful.
We saw quite a few drawbacks about the hotel we would like to highlight though to future customers: Our impression was that it was all about money. We paid 75 dollars (110% of our room rate) for early check-in at 5AM, instead of the usual 2PM. The hotel argued it was because of a fully booked hotel, with only the handicap room available, but to me it doesn't seem like it would make a difference. This unnaturally high early checkin fee, took us by surprise. Then trying to get local resturant tips from non other than the general manager was useless and annoying. No matter how much we tried to insinuate, we wanted to go out, her only obsession was go to the hotel resturant, matching the first impression of trying to get us to use as much money as possible at the hotel.
Rooftop and resturant is nice, but also a few drawbacks here. For a pretty big hotel the total of 4 sunbeds (even though very cormfortable) is too little, and made this, otherwise nice pool deck, a pain to wait for to get sun. Also in the evening the resturant extends out to the pool deck, meaning if the resturant has a good night, you can forget about a relaxing night by the pool with the skyline in sight. Also only the nice directions are shown, and not the huge building next to the pool, making constant noise during the day (Feb 2020)
So when should you choose this hotel? If it is the cheapest option of hotels with a decent standard (It does have a good standard, especially in the room), however if you want to relax by the pool more than once, you may not like it, and if you wan't to be close to the coast and tourist areas, I would recommend a hotel in that area instead. It was fine for us on this two day, not much pool action sightseeing days, but we were not impressed.

Arrived to the hotel right after landing in Colombo, staff was very friendly and accommodating with our luggage. The room was nice and had enough space for 3 people, even with the added cot since it was a 2 person room. We had booked a studio room and it had it’s own kitchen, washer, and dryer. You could’ve definitely stayed a while if you had desired. The bathroom had a glass wall with a curtain that you could lower to have privacy but if you left it open you could still enjoy a fairly decent view of Colombo’s neighborhoods. The view from the rooftop pool though, is absolutely spectacular, especially at sunset. See the attached photo for more.

We as a family of 6 visited Srilanka on a 8 day trip where we were throughly impressed with the country and the hospitality
This property was our last day of the tour and finishing touch hasn't been great
Rooms and views were lovely, rooms and bathroom were spotless. Toiletries were aromatic and I personally loved it.
Issue was with Dinner - we were on half board basis and were offered options to choose from set menu. The staff was not at all equipped to understand the order and deliver it right. There were only 1 soup, 1 main course and 1 dessert offered for dinner - too less for a 5 star. The order took forever to arrive with even some items being missed making us wait in the middle of the dinner.
Desserts that was only icecream took another era to arrive and it was delivered to our room only when senior management intervened after my complained. The icecreams were melted - check the pic. I am sure it doesn't melt in 2 min lift to 10th floor.
I had ordered cake for my hubby's birthday and when I checked in I told them to deliver it in dinner time. Before I went for dinner I made a reminder and cake was still not there. Post dinner we again sent reminder and were told it's on the way! 30 mins later I raised a complaint to the management and they got it delivered to our room after our entire mood was spoilt! I wanted to have a black coffee after waking up next day but there were no sachets the staff arrived but did not have only coffee sachets..it was with cream. Staff could provide no help then
Breakfast was alright with taste the next day.

The hotel is really clean and the location is great. I stayed here with my extended family and I had a few issues with the restaurant and room service which prevents me from giving it a 5 star rating. First night, they took nearly two hours to provide dinner for my family as it was Valentine's day!! Next, when I ordered Risotto from room service, they sent half baked rice and even though I returned it immediately, they had charged for it. The final and major issue was at breakfast.. the staff are not trained at all!! They treat Sti Lankan differently and other white tourists differently. This is completely unacceptable and amounts to racism. Even though I had young kids and elderly people with us and we asked for cutlery and other items which were missing, nothing was provided on time. The chef making eggs at the counter couldn't care less that he fidnt deliver his order for 30 mins even after several reminders. The waiters didnt bother at all. I still rate it high as pur other experience was good. But i really hope they up their game at the restaurant!

I always have had very pleasant experiences at Jetwing hotels in different locations in Sri Lanka. This was my first time staying at Jetwing Colombo 7. It was certainly one of the most relaxed and enjoyable stays I have ever experienced. The hotel is in a great location away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It has an extremely quiet and peaceful atmosphere, just what I was looking for. The rooms are very spacious modern and spotless. The housekeeping staff went above and beyond to make every day special for me by adding fresh flowers or leaving a special note from the person who cleaned my room, always inquiring if I needed extra water or towels. My laundry was picked up and delivered well before the scheduled day and time. The laundry service was one of the best, they followed my instructions to a tee, and my clothes were neatly folded and placed on the bed. I did not request any of these special services, but their delivery far exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff was always there whenever I needed their help. They were very friendly, professional, and eager to help. They give the best of themselves to the guest. This was true with all the staff I encountered. The staff at the spa was very knowledgeable and experienced, they listened to your concerns and tailored the treatments to your needs. It was one of the very best spa experiences I have had in Sri Lanka. Dining at 57 restaurant was the icing on the cake, the food was delicious, and the service was at another level, I requested dishes that were not on the regular menu, and they always came through, without fail. Both the room service and in-restaurant dining were very pleasant experiences. Shiva and his team gave me extraordinary service, and they made my last day of dining very delightful and special. For my future visits I will always choose Jetwing Colombo 7, not only because of the comfort, location, price, and great service, but what makes this place so enjoyable is the staff, from the management to everyone else in the staff are incredibly generous with their time, knowledge, and friendly service. I first stayed for a week and returned for another as I totally loved it here. Explains a lot why I didn't bother looking for any other accomodation! Most of the staff spoke good English and it was easy to communicate and liase with them. Staff were polite and never fail to greet guests and were always offering for help. Â
I opted for a studio room that came with a kitchenette. I ordered breakfast most days and it was always a generous spread, arrived fresh, warm and on time. Pantry and other toiletries supplies were always replenished daily and I was never short of anything. Just to add that I love the concept and furniture of the hotel. It's modern, refreshing and chic. Everthing was lovely.
Some of the plus points about Jetwing Colombo 7 - 1. Supermarket is located right over the road from the hotel 2. Cool cafes and other contemporary and modern stores just around the corner, about 2 minutes walk away 3. Amazing view and decent sunset from the rooftop bar/swimming pool where you get to see the skyline of Colombo and 4. Trying to be eco-friendly myself, I was pleased to know that Jetwing practices sustainability.
I didn't manage to get all of the names of the staff that has made my stay an amazing one but I would like to thank the General Manager, Rukmani, the Front Office Supervisor, Shehani, and the Housekeeping Executive, Dhanushka, along with the other receptionists, kitchen and restaurant staff, technicians, housekeepers, drivers, therapists, and everyone else I might have failed to mention but helped the hotel up and running. The team made it a wonderful and pleasant stay for me and I'm so glad I found Jetwing (by chance, how lucky!).
