This time when we stayed at the hotel, the city government already removed everything to construct a new promenade on the river. Now the street along the strip where the hotel is located on is a mud, even worse when it has rained. Next door to the restaurant of the hotel, a new building is under construction. The trucks arrive... More

It was a great surprise when we found this gem in front of the Mekong. The place is beautiful and cosy. The rooms have been thoughtfully designed for a calm and pleasant stay, and they feel fresh and SUPER clean. The owner, a friendly Australian is there to check all runs smoothly, and is happy to answer any questions. I... More

This place is just so great! I was a little bit stunned to find it was located on a dirt road but why worry about something like that when you are in beautiful Laos? I wasn't sure I'd like this hotel from the photos I'd seen but was very impressed when I arrived. First the foyer is large open and... More

Lovely hotel. Located slightly out of town, but not too far to walk. Great bar/restaurant next door. We had a rear facing room and no problem with noise at night.

The hotel is directly at the Mekong, breakfast is served at some tables outside and the view is very nice, you can look accross the Mekong to the Thailand side. The room was styled very individually and we liked it a lot. Rooms were big, nicely built and had all comfort expected including WiFi. You can easily walk through Vientianne... More

Our stay here was very comfortable indeed. It's a beautiful hotel by the river front (although not much of a river at the moment, being the dry season!) with excellent staff and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was good and the location, although a little out of the way, was also good. You can get a tuk tuk if you... More

We only stayed one night at the Hotel Beau Rivage, so it's difficult to get an accurate evaluation of the place. Our room was incredibly spacious. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The internet was fast and efficient. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel is located a little bit away from the main centre, but it's... More

The hotel is very clean and the rooms spacious. Even have a bath. Staff friendly and helpful, nevertheless streetdogs fighting wakes you up at 03:00 almost every night ( stayed for 3 nights). The front rooms with Mekong "view" are very noisy (streetnoise+dogs) and the "view" is only for the guard who can look right into your room from across... More
