My wife and I stayed for a week. The hotel was obviously built to a very high standard and the lobby is very impressive. The rooms are large and well appointed, but it is not hard to find little details, such a cracks in some tiles or poorly reapplied bath sealant the indicates the hotel is in need a redecoration...

The hotel was booked for a business trip… it was the tallest building in the vicinity.. have two types of rooms…river view and city view…both r good.. higher floors would be preferable.. we went during Christmas time and the hotel premises were beautifully decorated.. the best part is the hotel is walking distance from the Night market… it starts at...

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, but it is a bit out of the way from the action. I didn't have a room with a balcony it. Imagine as the city develops along the river it will not be alone for long. Great buffet breakfast with very fresh produce. Food in the hotel restraint while not oozing with atmosphere, the food...

I was there on an official trip. the hotel is average- what could have been a great view of the Mekong is spotlit by a large piece of un-populated land right in front. Keep your curtains drawn during the day if you get a Mekong facing room as the air conditioning is average and the sun hits the windows directly...

I stayed here one night and found the location to be a distance away from the city center. They do have a free shuttle bus to the Fountain Square but there are limited departures. Walking around the neighborhood, I did not find many places to eat. The lobby is huge and check in was fast. My room was a suite...

Unlike many other hotels in Asia this place truly deserves its 4 star rating. Big rooms, fully functioning amenities, staff speaks decent English, quite ok breakfast (especially if you choose freshly made soup). Nothing special, nothing to complain about. I'd return.

It is located just next to the Mekong River. Spacious compound but did not have the chance to explore the surrounding as I was on a hectic business trip. Breakfast and lunch offers decent selection. The Riverland Restaurant has a Malaysian chef thus it offers one or two Malaysian dishes at any time. Portion of food served by the Cantonese...

I stayed at the Don Chan Palace Hotel & Convention for one day during my layover in Vientiane and I wish it was longer. The staff was nice and greeted me well as I entered the hotel and took me and my luggage to my room with no problem, even though the hotel was huge. I enjoyed a spacious and...
