I stayed at this hotel for business. I'd recommend it even though I picked up a stomach bug from having lunch there. The hotel has good facilities a smallish but comfortable conference room. The staff were helpful when they were able to understand my accent. Excellent location, not too far from the Mekong river and the night market.

first the location was good, right near the happening/entertainment place near Mekong River, efficient staff and good services, the room was surprizingly good, spacious comparable to a 4star, bed and linens, clean, the breakfast served at Cafe IndoChina was very tasty - a value for your money.

First the good things - location was great. We were not staying in Vientiane for too long, so the location of the hotel is really useful. Close to the market, and all the nightlife. Staff was good, as always in south east asia. The trouble: The rooms left us a little dissapointed. Maybe we were spoilt by our stay in...

Myself and the group that I traveled with to Vientiane, Laos with found this place to be very comfortable compared to other hotels that we stayed at. The breakfast was great- they had homemade jam that was delicious and fresh every morning! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were decent. I also appreciated (and used!) the safety deposit box...

Very disappointed, spa pool dirtycould not use, we were very pleased when we were told we got a free upgrade, but the Sstandard double was actually better than the dulux, our bath was cracked and the bathroom very aged. Our balcony was dirty and so wide we could not see over :-( they replaced the bedroom furniture whilst we were...

Property was old and tired. Staff was quite unresponsive. I asked to book an English Speaking tour guide and I got a driver that did not speak even one word. They had no knowledge of the surroundings and could not recommend anything except the spa across the street. Comfortable stay otherwise, okay for a business overnight. Breakfast was mediocre.

I do not usually stop at Best Western as in the past I have found that there was remarkable disparity in the standards, however as I had one night and a tight schedule and it was located where I needed it to be, I tried it and have to say, given the price especially it worked for me. I do...

Lao hotels are expensive compared to their Thai neighbours. That being said, I find the BW well located with good size rooms. Beds and furnishings are comfortable. The breakfast is good; even the bacon & cheese is acceptable. The noodle soup is delicious. The eggs are well cooked to order. The air con is very efficient, so much so that...

Excellent location near river & night market. Big clean rooms. Room decor is a tad tired but more than acceptable for what we expected for a hotel in Vientiane. Lots of hot water. Complimentary water. Safe in room. Nice bedding. Did I mention the excellent air conditioning? Our room included a full breakfast with a choice of western or Asian...

Centrally located, a few minutes walk to the Mekong River in the evening to view beautifl sunset and the night market. It is a great base to explore the city, in striking distance of most touristy places and to get to the nightspots and happenings. Also, it is a favourite spot for the local people to rest and stroll leisurely...
