What an absolute hole this place is. The pictures on the website must have been taken in it’s heyday as they certainly do not resemble what it is now. Bed linen may be clean but the decor is tired and walls and woodwork is dirty....More

Vientiane is the capital city of Laos, but there is not much going on here, and I would not return. There were few guests at the hotel, and in the city, during the popular Christmas period. We just walked around and made the best of...More

We’ve got a deluxe room. It comes in a good size with decent basic furnitures for a 3-star hotel. The location is great. The key places we wanna visit are all within walking distance. The service is also very friendly.

As Vientiane changes, so does our villa. Originally built as a private residence for a French family in the 1960s, the site became a school with up to 500 children in 1992 before it was turned into a hotel at More the beginning of this century. Despite the changes, our guests still can feel the privacy and comforts of home in each corner of the hotel. The four original buildings host 23 newly designed rooms and are surrounded by a green and cozy garden with seats under large shady trees. The Mandala Boutique Hotel is located in a small side road away from the busy streets of Vientiane, but within walking distance to the city center and just a 15-minute drive from the airport. Less
