I was a solo traveler and was put in a room with 3 single beds. The bathroom was clean, but the actual room seems very dirty. The wi-fi isn't that great either. The staff don't speak English that well. The location is okay. You can walk around and find lots of places to see and food venues.

I stayed at Mixok Guesthouse for one night only and it was perfect ! Clean room and clean bathroom, helpful staff, location, TV, Aircon, Breakfast, et all at a very good price. The night before I stayed in a very cheap but horrible Guesthouse, so after that the Mixok seemed like absolute heaven ! Absolutely no issues here and I...

As SEA budget travel goes this place is pretty much average. In my room there was excellent WiFi reception, crisp white sheets and towels, a TV, fan and AC. Rooms include breakfast or can be negotiated without and as it is it's sister GH down the road, Mixok Inn, offers breakfast for 15000 K. I slept very well and had...

We stayed in the mixok guesthouse (not mixok inn) for 4 nights. We actually wanted to stay for two nights, but we went sick during our time in Vientiane. We didn't choose for the breakfast, so we payed 100.000k. I thought it was a good price for what we had. The room is basic, but clean. We loved the bed,...

The rooms are ok. A bit depressing but you get what you pay for. Breakfast is in the neighbouring hotel. Staff are terrible. Seriously would it kill them to say sabaidee/hello or thank you. Even when I have said sabaidee to them! Plain rude. Again location is worth it but if there's one thing I hate, it's bad service when...

Easy to reach all sights and bars in the Centre on foot. Very quiet despite central location. Room not very cozy. Bathroom simple (typical Southeast-Asia-style) and relatively clean. Towels and bedlinen slightly dirty - Need of improvement! Staff not particularly friendly - a bit too expensive, but the price is for Vientiane probably ok.

Mixok Inn is in a great situation close to the city centre and the Mekong. Good size, clean, comfortable rooms with great A/C. Friendly staff who will book your journey back to Bangkok. Fab local restaurant "Lao Kitchen"

Our room was large, clean and well furnished, with a big bathroom. Wifi worked well in the room, the mattress was very comfortable and the tv had plenty of english channels. Good value for the price - we paid 130,000 for our air-con room, including a decent breakfast (which would have cost 30,000 for 2 if bought separately). Breakfast is...

I was actually staying at ratty hotel on the same road. However, three hours before my flight out I decided to withdraw some money so I could pay for a tuktuk. The ATM swallowed my card and I had no idea what to do. I couldn't even read what the bank was called because it was all in Lao script....

We only came for the bicycles: The receptionist was very competent and friendly. He even set up a contract for the bicycle rent. The city bikes were old but served us well. Had to return them by 6 p.m.
