Staff spoke almost no english and seemed uninterested in guests. Room was 5th floor walk-up. Wifi connected and reconnected (sometimes) on lower floors). No WIFI above 3rd floor. Rooms small and not clean, Some things falling apart

Check in was quick and swift, it was really easy to find this hotel, our bus from vang vieng did not drop us at the bus station but at some side street downtown which was fine was this was only 5 minute walk from our hotel. Room was basic and clean and shower worked well. Pretty much all you need...

Stayed here in February. The girl on reception initially made us feel that we were bothering her by checking in. We were given a room on the third floor which was very dirty. There were leaves and litter all down the side of the bed. When we went down to ask for another room she looked further annoyed and merely...

We stayed here in a double room for three nights in Feb 2015, and paid $28.70 per night. It's one of the most expensive places we've stayed whilst in SE Asia and I can't say it's really the best. As most people reading through these reviews will soon realise, cheap hotels which you don't mind staying in are few and...

We booked this place, being wary of the not so amazing reviews - but it was the nicest budget accommodation we found online. However, we actually found this hotel rather pleasant! It's clean, it's basic, and the shower was the best we had in Laos! Yes there were LOTS of mozzies but we put our mosquito net up the best...

We moved to this hotel because it was closer to the city center, restaurants and night market. Nothing fancy, just a clean and simple hotel with free wifi. We enjoyed sitting in the small lobby with our friends checking email. The hotel was just down the street from the river and the thriving night market. Tons of restaurants and other...

We stayed here for 2 nights. First of all the rooms are good: clean and tidy. There is a good and spacious ensuite bathroom and good wifi in the lobby (Skype worthy). Don't pay more for the "temple" view rooms, because I think the view is not worth it. There is an ugly building in front of the window and...

I stayed here for one night in the end of May 2014. We got small room for $25 per night so i think it is not so expensive but not so clean too. The receptionist was helpful and showed me every kind of room that was provided by the Hotel patiently, khop jai! The location is nice because it is...

We went to Funky Monkey Hostel, took one look and went over the road to this place. $20 in off-season, not too bad. Great location and do your washing over the street for 5,000 kip/kg less! Rooms were comfortable and clean, but had a few stains on the sheets and ants on the wall. Nothing serious!

Our biggest disappointment with this Hotel is we booked it because " It was the last room left" ( if you travel you understand it is never the Last Room ) and it was stated as having a "Rare River View" . What they really meant to say was a , "Rear View" meaning no view whatsoever at the back...
