I booked through agoda and when we arrived the hotel didn't have a booking under our name. They were helpful though and gave us another room. It's off season so no problems. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was equipped well. However...we ran out of toilet paper immediately as there were about 2 squares left in there. We...

Ansara hotel was the perfect choice for our long weekend visit to Vientiane. Tucked away on a nice quiet side street, but easy walking distance to the night market, riverside promenade and dining options. We stayed in the Chanthabury Suite and it was very charming. The hotel added a very nice welcome touch with a free bottle of sparking wine,...

We enjoyed our stay here. The room and balcony were lovely as was the pool area. We did have to ask for towels and pool chair cushions every time but they brought them pretty promptly. Similar to a previous customer we kept having to ask for extra drinking water so maybe bigger water bottles would be a better idea. However,...

The hotel is very centrally located close to restaurants, bars, city sights and the river. You could walk which I love to do! We stayed in the new suite Impeng which is 64sqm and feels bigger! Nice balconies and very good bathroom with separate bath and shower. My children were in a savvy which is sufficient. Very good ham sandwich...

Dear Sir, Thank you very much for your feedback. Having read your experience, I can understand your frustrations and sincerely apologize for the way things were mishandled for you. Normally, we provide 6 complimentary small bottles of drinking water in the suites (in your suite, there should be 2 bottles in the fridge and 4 bottles on the coffee &...

we stayed at the Ansara hotel for 4 nights in June - spouse, 3 kids (17,15,8). we had booked 2 rooms (savvy trio and savvy twin). there was some confusion when we got to our rooms as we didn't have a trio. after about 15 min we sorted it out (main front desk manager) - and we were given our...

There are some smarter hotels in Vientiane, but has the best balance of location, service & ambience. To match location you need to use backpackers. To match service & ambience you have to be out of the centre

I stayed with my daughter at this hotel. The room was ok a little spartan for my taste it needed more furniture. The swimming pool was a bonus staying in the centre of town, not many hotels have this facility. The staff were friendly and attentive. My one complaint is that there was a lot of building work going on...

I stayed at the Ansara for only one night, so I don't have a lot to go on, but I thought this was a fine hotel. I got in late, after the kitchen had closed, so I don't know how good the room service or meals are. There is a lovely pool and the rooms are well appointed with a...

We fell in love with this hotel! The location is excellent! It is very near all the attractions and restaurants, you will not need a tuk-tuk to visit most places, they will be within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful Buddhist temples, giving it a really relaxed atmosphere. The swimming pool has just been completed and is BEAUTIFUL,...
