Great place to stay in Phnom Penh, Mr Phannak is very helpful and sorted out everything we needed. Great location close to riverfront. You need to email him direct as his website doesn't always work thefancyguesthouse@yahoo.com. We stayed 2 nights in a US$20 room which had everything we needed.

I ended up staying at Fancy Guest House to meet up with some close friends, and could not be happier with how my stay has been. I was immediately greeted with smiles and great hospitality. The guest house is very clean and well maintained, and the staff will do whatever they can to help you, and they will do so...

Travellers to Phnom Penh should check out the Fancy Guest House, if they want clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations. Guest services at the Fancy Guest House are excellent as well! The staff are friendly, courteous, knowledgable, helpful and honest. The front desk staff speak English and can help guests with any and all requests, from bus tours and hotel bookings...

Originally we stayed for just a couple of nights, but came back for another five because it was so good. The location is great and means that you can walk to all of PP's centrally located sights. Lots of restaurants and bars are all within a 5 minute walk. Despite this it was still very quiet peaceful. The owner organised...

This has to be one of the best value spots in Phnom Penh. The rooms are very clean and they all come with TV and air con. The staff is professional and eager to please. Mr. Phannak, the owner, has a great story to tell and has overcome a lot. I'm happy to support and recommend his guesthouse.

We stayed here for several days. Place is clean, yes, but only inside the guesthouse. Outside the street directly in front is dirty, noisy and dusty. All this would have been tolerable except for one: the way they treat guests is nice (in their presence) but it is fake. We used to work for an NGO in Phnom Penh from...

We stayed in 2 different rooms here after my previous guesthouse was full, and so I needed to move. The first time, we stayed in a second floor twin room, at the back. Huge room, with TV, aircon, fridge (+ 2 free bottles of water). Spotlessly clean. $20. Very quiet and got an excellent night's sleep. The second time, the...

clean, safe, great service. The $20/night room that I initially booked was not available but Mr Phannak didn't hesitate to give us a bigger available room with no extra charge. The location is great too; with Sisowath Quay, Central Market and the Royal Palace within walking distances. From helping us purchase bus tickets to SR to bringing us around personally...

We stayed here for a few nights while visiting Phnom Penh. The owner was lovely, arranged us a tuktuk for one of the days, booked our ticket onwards for us and even brought us a banana dessert on our last night! Room restated in was windowless but clean, big enough and no noise. Only downside to a room like that...

Agree with the other reviewers. I had a room on the ground floor, very clean, own bathroom, tv, aircon, no windows unfortunately. Paid $15 per night. Staff was very helpful and friendly. It's a good place and excellent value, but not the best place to meet other travellers since there is not really a communal area. More a hotel than...
