The garden and pool were beautiful, walking distance to most attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was adequate, the only downside was the size of our room. I'd estimate it was 4x4metres which didn't leave much space for two people to maneouvre around in. The tv was strapped to a table in a position that made it almost...

We stayed two nights here and it wonderfully quiet and calm, despite being in the centre of a busy city. Lovely pool friendly staff and great food. Highly recommended and very central for sightseeing and local eateries.

We stayed at the Kabiki during our tour of Asia. Loved everything about the Hotel. Although you cannot drive up to the entrance this added to the experience for us. The staff were amazing and so was the food as we ate there most nights as it was so nice. We loved the pool during the evenings late into the...

place is really close of riverside and all restaurants, it is a pretty 18 room boutique with a big pool and a kiddie pool. everything is very clean and personel is very accomodating. tuk tuks are not at the door of the hotel, there is a 100mt walk between the street and the entrance as it looks like a private...

Always stay here when visiting Phnom Penh. Outstanding value for money, lovely staff. Rooms are clean and well appointed, pool area is safe and attractive, complementary breakfast is enjoyable. Restaurant also offers more than decent western and Khmer dishes and make a decent cocktail.

This is a beautiful little hotel - calming and peaceful in the midst of a hot, dirty but beautiful city! As you walk through the gates you feel yourself transported to another era and another location - you could be on the banks of a river or a few meters from a beach! The welcome from the staff was incredibly...

Walking into The Kabiki from the hot and dusty streets of Phnom Penh, is like discovering an oasis in the middle of the desert. As soon as you walk into the gates, the large, shady trees almost welcome you to relax. Signing in at Reception is a pleasure as the staff are lovely and can't help you enough. Even the...

The reviews don't lie: this is a great place. The major pros are: * The hotel was quiet, on a back road, but very easy to get out and about. Until you experience it, it is hard to emphasise how much this is an oasis in the middle of a busy part of the city. * Incredible central location, within...

We were travelling with our children (4 and 7 years old) and stayed at the Kabiki for 3 days. It is a very child-friendly place. Our family room had bunk beds and was very tastefully decorated. The Kabiki is a small hotel lying peacefully down a small road with very little traffic. It is quiet and lies within a big...

Its "Paradise" located in the heart of the city. Conveniently located amongst the hustle and bustle of Phnomn Pehn but once you arrive inside the hotel gates you could easily be on a tropical island resort. The friendly, hospitable staff from the reception through to bar and cleaning staff makes it a very welcoming and homely environment - especially being...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
After opening our famous Pavilion boutique hotel, we realised, as people with family ourselves, that Phnom Penh needed a resort that was family orientated and child friendly. The historic colonial house we found on Oknha Peich Street with its 3500m2 of surrounding land was perfect. Caring, friendly staff, lots of nature for children to explore, the Kabiki is a place to relax, take a swim and lounge in the sun between days exploring Phnom Penh and the nearby attractions of the Royal Palace, Wat Botum and the riverside. We planted over 500 native trees, many of which we've placed name tags on so you can identify them yourselves. ... more   less
