We stayed at The Pavilion for two nights and loved the hotel. It has a style of its own. The room (we were in a superior one) was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was clean everything worked. The secluded pool was wonderful. There were loungers around it, and a convenient Bar, which also served simple evening meals....

Great location, safe for female travellers. Friendly staff who are willing to help with everything with great tips for exploring the area (and expected prices to pay for goods and services) Had no problems here at all. A little piece of paradise in chaotic Phnom Penh.

Stayed here for a few nights, in a pool room. The location of the hotel is great. The room was a good size, and well appointed. The bathroom was small, and the shower leaked everywhere, but the water was hot. The private pool was bigger than expected, and also had a little courtyard with day beds for lounging around on....

Dear Guest, I am very sorry about the shower leaking, I will get that checked today. As for the food, we indeed have a basic choice of food at the Pavilion and our "restaurant" is more a poolside bar with a few dishes and snacks. I indeed have noticed that people like to go out in the evening and therefore...

We stayed here for 3 nights at The Pavilion for the last days of our honey moon. The staff is perfect, very welcoming. The house is beautiful. We were really impressed by the Art Déco style of the furniture. We really enjoy this hotel in Phnom Penh!

However, the jacuzzi room was larger and newer, but u have to have all the curtains drawn all the time, otherwise ppl can see in ur room. Staff were very accommodating,...

The staff are friendly, helpful and make your stay very comfortable. The pool and surrounds a delight after a day of sightseeing. The location close to many of the...

I stayed with my husband in the garden bungalow. Everything was very beautiful, in a lush tropical garden setting. Fresh fruit provided, your own computer and internet access in the room, amazing complimentary breakfast by the pool. The hotel is located centrally, close to the Royal Palace. This is truly exceptional value. Even our driver couldn't believe such a beautiful...

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of friends who stayed here last year. It just made our stay in Phnom Penh! Pouring when we arrived with flooding gutters and paths, but met at our taxi with umbrellas and smiles. Both people who met us at reception spoke excellent English, and spent time orienting us with a map.Nari then...

I found this hotel based upon the ratings in Tripadvisor and the price. Upon making arrangements via the internet, I was amazed at the speed and efficiency of the arrangements. Upon arrival, check in was a breeze. The receptionist took me to my room and explained everything. The room was very nice and very clean. Each room had a computer,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
It all started when we fell in love with a hidden gem of French-Khmer architecture from the 1920s near Wat Botum, one of the most venerable and original pagodas in Phnom Penh. Renovation and remodeling were led with due respect for the character of a building which had been, as we learnt it later on, a private retreat for Queen Consort Sisowath Kossamak, the late King Sihanouk's mother. Opened on August, 18, 2006 with 10 rooms, The Pavilion has slowly expanded over the years, offering now 36 accommodations throughout three more period buildings that have been added to the property: "The New House", former residence of the chief veterinarian at the Royal Palace; "The New Villa", formerly the private residence of a Cambodian senator, and "The Sun-Pool Villa", our latest addition which used to be lodgings for diplomats based in Phnom Penh. Each one has its own style and atmosphere, with distinctive architectural features such as an elaborate wooden stairway, intricate iron wrought railings, etc… ... more   less
