I've been visiting Phnom Penh for over 10 years and always stay at the FCC. Its mixture of old fashioned charm and great service is a winning combination. Although I only stay a couple of nights each visit, the reception staff remember me and couldn't be more helpful. I love the atmosphere of the bar in particular. It is a...

Went to FCC bar for drinks. Ideal location by the river and good views at night. service is average. went 2 nights in a row expected some music but was disappointed. Photographs on the wall tell are story and I liked it. The decor is inviting and a throwback to the 70's. But something was missing and it looks overrated

We loved staying at FCC for the nostalgia. The rooms and room service was great. Happy to pay a little more for the significance of the place. Food terrific, loved happy hour and the bustling atmosphere inside and out.

I stayed for 2 nights on my arrival to Phnom Penh. Staff organized a driver to collect me at the airport which went smoothly-even provided cold water & wet facecloth for the busy traffic drive into town. Much road construction so be patient! Room on 2nd floor, spacious with TV & safe. English news & movie channels. Breakfast was included...

Our 5 night stay at the FCC in P.P was booked for us by the FCC in Siem Riep. Upon our arrival at FCC in P.P we were told by the woman in Reception that the Deluxe room which had been booked for us was not available. She offered no apology and showed us the standard room which has no...

Very nicely located hotel on the riverfront. The views of the Mekong are awe inspiring in this sleepy city. The breeze on the terrace is refreshing and cool. Breakfast on the top floor is a pleasant experience, with a view to match. Nice clean rooms

O.K. got to make clear, my abode for one night was the Director Apartment. Or the family suite as it is known on Booking.com. For Phnom Penh a bit pricey, but in the rest of the world it is steal. Yes, you can hear the hub-bub on the outside street through the glass sliding door to the private balcony, but...

We visited the FCC on the waterfront in Phnom Pehn while looking for somewhere to eat one evening recently. It has a great feel and ambience to it. Old motorbikes in the upstairs bar, Ernest Hemingway quotes on the wall and a great collection of black and white photographs with scenes from the Cambodian conflict up the stairs. A window...

No doubt the FCC Hotel has an interesting history. It has a great location, with a view of the busy Tonle Sap River, surrounded by shops and restaurants. However, its colonial charm is a bit worn; in addition, the traffic on Sisowath Street is a lot heavier and therefore noisier than before. Having said that, we still had a very...

After reading the reviews and being intrigued about the history of the FCC we booked a few nights here at the start of our Cambodia trip. The hotel is in a good location on the tourist strip overlooking the river and close to the Royal Palace. Back in the day this would have been a wonderful place to stay, but...
