Booked through Trip Advisor to stay here two nights and upon arrival was informed that the hotel was overbooked and they were upgrading us and moving us to the downtown location. Considering we specifically chose the Russian Market location to be within walking distance to the friend we were visiting, this was unacceptable. We had already paid for our two...

This is the third time i've stayed at this lovely hotel. Staff is helpful. Location is excellent. Breakfast is best in the area. I am always welcomed here. The spa massages help heal the aches of long haul flying and are reasonably priced.

My wife and I spent two days at the hotel. It was recommnded to us and we are glad we stayed. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the hotel staff is superb and overall cleanliness and appearance is top drawer. We were mostly impressed by the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in easy walking distance from the Royal...

The location and cost of this place were excellent. Our room was clean, the king size bed was comfortable. We were on the 9th floor and had an interesting view of the city from our room. It was a bit noisy, however, although the it did quiet down after 10 PM. My main complaint was that the washbasin was in...

For my first time in Cambodia I chose this hotel: it's good but by the pictures it looked better. Good and clean rooms, small terraces, two swimming pools (but the pool on the rooftop is very, very small). The breakfast is good and abundant and the staff is welcoming. They don't accept guests in the rooms.

Twin room was clean, air conditioned and pleasant. The water after showers took a while to drain away, but when we called the staff about it they cleared it while we were out. The morning buffet breakfast was really good, and having your omelette with a choice of fillings cooked in front of you was great, The staff throughout the...

The hotel comes with 2 pools. One at the lobby area and the other at the rooftop. The room are clean and basic. The breakfast served in the morning was sufficient for me. Although I thought it can be better Wifi was quite stable. Location very near to Russian Market. If u need anything, it is easy to buy.

I stayed in this hotel in January with a friend, the location is close to the Russian Market and not far away from the center. Room was nice with a beautiful view of Phnom penh, the jacuzzi on the roof top is perfect and the employees are very nice even if sometimes they have difficulties with english. I recommend this...

Cambodia must have a different rating system, because I do not understand how this is a 4-star hotel. This place is old, dated and dirty. The staff is not very helpful. This is a 2-star, at most. I noticed the place was inexpensive, but I thought it was because of the local cost or exchange rate. It was listed as...

The location was good, the room was large, and the staff was helpful. The breakfast, however, was particularly bad and the entire property was not clean enough. I expect you can do better for the price, and if not it would be worth spending more in this very inexpensive city.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Frangipani Living Arts Hotel & Spa is located in a quiet residential street near the Russian Market (Psa Toul Tom Pong), the Frangipani Living Arts Hotel and Spa has been designed by architects specialized in tropical architecture. The landscape artist designed the exterior which includes gardens, two swimming pools and lounge and spa. Completed in late 2012, the hotel is the main property of Frangipani Villa Hotels, a chain of boutique hotels in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. The Frangipani Living Arts Hotel and Spa is the first 4-star hotel in Toul Tom Pong, an increasingly fashionable neighborhood in southwest Phnom Penh. It has 75 rooms with balconies including 60 superior and 15 deluxe rooms with both double and twin beds. We also have two suites with double beds. All rooms are air-conditioned and most have full-sized baths. Room service offering both Asian and Western food is available 24 hours a day. The 10-story hotel has two bars, a business center, banquet facilities and a meeting room capable of seating up to 130 people. The hotel’s proximity to the Russian Market, a few minutes walk away, makes it an ideal location in an area that has undergone significant refurbishment in recent years but still retains the old charm of Phnom Penh in the 1960s. The market has long been one of the city's premier tourist attractions, especially for Soviet visitors in the 1980s, and now offers a vast array of souvenirs, local silk and other fabrics, clothing and footwear as well as the latest DVD releases. Numerous cafes and restaurants offering a wide variety of Asian and Western cuisines are located in the area which also has banks and ATM facilities. ... more   less
