Stayed here for two nights with two friends as we needed a place to stay in Phnom Penh. The room itself was quite nice, with some wooden furniture and three 1.5 size beds, although one plug socket was hanging off the wall. The beds were comfortable and it had well functioning air conditioning which was great in 40 degree heat....

First off, I would like to comment on some of the other reviews and their anger at the lack of English speaking staff. You CANNOT go to a non English speaking country and expect the locals to have learned your language, do you even realise the level of ignorance that you have in doing so? Many of them cannot afford...

We stayed at Green guest house for three nights and i was relieved to leave. Atmosphere was creepy, the staff couldnt speak english very well and there were insects on the walls in the room that smelled strange. I dont know how other guest houses are in phnom penh but there must be more valuable places to stay than this....

From outside the building is all green. You can't miss is it. The Green guesthouse is in street 125 where are a lot more guesthouses and hotels. The rooms are with hot shower, television and airco, they didn't look very new. But it was not bad. There is an elevator. A part of the reception area is full of motorbikes....

Overpriced and no atmosphere. Very basic rooms with AC, TV, double bed and private bathroom. Not particularly clean and no attempt at decoration, just very plain and characterless. Fair few silver fish / cockroaches running around the room too. Much better options on the same street. Wouldn't stay here again.

The staff are friendly and even offered a $3 discount for one night. The rooms are average. The sheets were mildly clean but very tatty (full of holes). Wifi good and security cams all over. Free water. The bathrooms are small and ok, not perfect. Typical shower over toilet set up. Cockroaches in the room. Very basic for the price....

One of many Guest Houses in this area that are almost indentical. Room was a little small. Can't remember negative issues about lazy staff or dirty room. Stayed a week because the guest house I wanted to stay in was full.

We had planned to stay at the Green Guesthouse for 3 nights but left after one. The room we were given was dirty: black dirt marks on the sheets, hair in the bathroom, the shower water went directly on to the floor and the drain was about half a metre away causing the bathroom to flood easily. There were also...

Not very close to tge riverfront and resturants at all. At least a 45 minute walk if your fit! Bathroom was pretty shocking. Its more of a toilet with a shower above it. The sink just poured water down the plug and straight through the pipe to fall onto the floor. A lot of hair in bathroom from previous occupant....

Guesthouse choices in Phnom Penh are limited and some just don't even make you want to step in. We chose Sunday GH based on LP's choice pick but left after 1 night. Green is one street away, about 50m walk away from Sunday. Acceptable place to stay in for 3-4 days. Lucky Supermarket/Fast Food is about 300-400m away.
