Our group tour started here so we booked a few extra nights between travels around Cambodia. The location is confusing for Tuk Tuk drivers so make sure to take a business card so you can get back. The staff was friendly, remembered us each time we came back. Good breakfast buffet and dinner service as well. Walkable to the riverfront....

After reading the reviews we feared the worst but to be fair it's not that bad. The room was a decent size and the bathroom was reasonable. The shower had the normal mould and the shower leaked everywhere. The air conditioning worked but looked very grubby. The hotel is very tired and needs a makeover. The area looks very seedy...

The Cardamom was a cool, clean place to return to after hitting the gritty streets of Phnom Phen. Staff were friendly and approachable. I had one particular problem (due to my own fault), which they solved promptly, efficiently and pleasantly. Two of the standouts of my stay were the tasty breakfast omelettes cooked right in front of me, and the...

I stayed in the Cardamom for 2 nights. Check-in was efficient and the staff was friendly. Our first room was on the 8th floor. This 'superior room' was rather small, especially the bathroom, where there was no room to store your personal stuff. After a few minutes however we noticed that there were more than a 100 ants crawling allover...

Comfortable clean convenient. Good value. Polite helpful staff. Great launch point, handy location. Doesn't pretend to be a 5 star palace, and if the whiners who complain about it don't like it, they should pay $60 instead of $30 and go elsewhere.

This was the starting point for our tour of Cambodia. Our room was basic but a good size. There was a small amount of mould in the bathroom but apart from that the room was clean. Breakfast was a mix of western & Asian and you can have your eggs cooked any way you want them. It is situated in...

I stayed here from 16-18th Sept 2016. The first day of breakfast, I went to restaurant at 09:15am while the operation is from 06am until 10am. The staff at restaurant put some napkin on my table and talked loudly to their colleagues. Only the chef was smile when I ordered omelet. The room was no view at all. I don't...

The reception changed our booking without a notice and lied about it. Than they tried to scam us with 10$ to upgrade us to the room previously booked and paid for. We accepted what we got since we paid in advance. The rooms are not well maintained and the closet is broken where I could not close it. The ceiling...

Cardamom Hotel is a 3 star with an awesome location. It is located in the heart of Phnom Penh, about 10 mins away from Central Market, Heart of Darkness (the area is similar to pub street in Siem Reap) and Dine in the Dark, Phnom Penh. I could walk to the Royal Palace which is located about 20 mins. The...

Adequate room, bit on small side. Shower great, but could do with less mould.a/c excellent, bed & pillows excellent.Room safe easy to operate as very modern. The hotel is still undergoing newbuilding process , but noise is at a minimum-double glazing on windows. Good selection at breakfas buffet, unfortunately stone cold. A tuk tuk to Central Market $2 just great shopping-do barter but...
