Luxurious hotel in Phnom Penh, beautiful lobby, nice room. Managed to swim in the pretty and empty pool once. My favorite was the breakfast buffet, delicious pancake and noodle soup. I did not do much at the hotel since it's only for a business trip.

We had just come from the Sofitel in Siem Reap (where we were delighted with everything)...and we cam to Phnom Penh thinking we would get the same experience....but we didn't. Thats not to say its a terrible hotel; it has many positives: the breakfast was excellent, the room was also very nice and the location was great. However the pool...

A very elegant and tranquil hotel, well located in the north of the city quite near the Royal Palace, riverside, etc. Great for either business or leisure. Appeared to be children-free during our visit, which is a huge bonus if you're looking for a calm and grown up atmosphere. We had a lovely well appointed room, and super-comfortable bed. One...

We consider ourselves well traveled and the Sofitel in Phnom Penh has priced as one of the best in which we have stayed. All the staff are very friendly and efficient and have obviously been trained at an extremely high level. Everything was excellent, we stayed on the executive floor and had access to the lounge with free tea/coffee and cakes all day with a wonderful view of the city. The beds were the most comfortable on the trip, basically everything was excellent. I particularly liked the fact the hotel had worked out set rates for the Taxi/TukTuk drivers, so the...

Sunday brunch is incredible. Steak, sushi, lobster, on and on. Everything is excellent. They even offer endless champagne. The price may seem expensive, but it is my understanding that they don't even make much money on it. In other words, it is well worth the money if you are in the mood for something incredible.

The hotel compound is very big and the room is quite spacious. There are various restaurants within the hotel area. The swimming pool is big and gym facilities are quite complete. The tv channels are comprehensive. However, the breakfast is just on average. The location of hotel is just beside Aeon Mall so it's very convenient.

This Sofitel is indeed a pinnacle of five star luxury. The rooms are large and even palatial, with wood floors, huge well appointed bathrooms, comfortable beds and furniture. I slept very well! Staff are welcoming and reasonably efficient. The food is good quality, with some healthy options and innovative gastronomy touches. Yet I felt nostalgic of the other wonderful Sofitel...
