Staying in Cambodia for over 20 years I found an ideal place to stay in Phnom Penh : the 252 hotel.
This allows me to be less than 5 minutes from the Royal Palace, the central market, Wat Phnom, the river side in tuktuk.
The 252 is quiet, and after a long day, you can cool off in a large swimming pool.

I also recommend to any visitor the fine Cambodian cuisine of 252 with unforgettable continental dishes such as chocolate mousse.

Good place to stay for many days.

the priorities are so charming

The entrance to the hotel is a leafy courtyard around a nice-sized swimming pool with tables and sofas great for lounging, especially during the hotter part of the day or in the evening, with a bar/restaurant. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. There is security at the entrance at night. The rooms are a good size, clean and quiet, with simple but stylish furnishings. The fan and air-conditioning keep the room cool. The shower is large. The bed is big and the mattress very firm. The food is good, the beer cold and the chocolate mousse is amazing. The wifi works throughout the hotel, though it sometimes drops. Overall, this is excellent value and a peaceful and conveniently located mid-range hotel that supports an independent business over a chain.

Owner run boutique hotel great for a stay if visiting the city. Not a great location in terms of the road etc but near enough to get to everything with a short tuk tuk ride. When you enter into the court yard with the lovely pool you can forget about the hustle and bustle of the city and relax. The bar and food area also by the pool does great food so if you really want to relax you don't have to go anywhere. We had a very large clean room. Small TV with some English channels and tea / coffee making facilities. Air con however a bit small for the size of the room. I would recommend if you want small and attentive rather than a large chain.

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay in Phnom Penh with good privacy and cozy atmosphere, 252 Boutique Hotel is perfect for you. I and my fiancé have been stayed there 3 times and they never let us down. Soon we will be back there again.
252 Boutique Hotel always keeps the door close so that their guests can have privacy for swimming, chilling, enjoying the food and drinks. When you come here, don't forget to order Fresh Spring Rolls. Yummmmyyyyyy!!!!! And their Amok is also very special 🤤🤤🤤
Last but not least, the management team and the staffs are super friendly there. You will always get the great supports from them for anything you may need for your trips such as arranging transportation, contacting to the Lost & Found department at the airport to get your lost suitcase back (they helped my fiancé a lot in this case because he lost his luggage when he flied from Belgium to Phnom Penh), etc.
Hope you will have a good time at 252 Boutique Hotel like we had.

Quite central in the city you slide the big gate back to reveal an oasis .There is a big pool in the courtyard and a bar nearby . The checkIn is friendly and efficient . The rooms are clean and comfortable . The food here is very good . In addition to a lovely breakfast, refreshments are offered around the pool which is great after a days sight seeing . An evening menu is available too and very good . Highly recommended .

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my various travels to Cambodia! Upon arrival I am always warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager. The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the owners Nicole + Stephane deserve a special thanks for supporting at any need. In December 2019 I had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The small boutique hotel is close to all touristic venues in town and easy to reach.

Due to the recent events in the world, we ended at Nicole and Stephane's place. We were immediately feeling better, Stephane and Nicole and their staff took care of us like if we were part of the family. The hotel is located in an area without works so you can have a good sleep. We will go back for sure, food and pool were also great, so many good memories and laugh in this difficult times. GO 252!!!!

The owners of the Hotel have been in Phnom Penh for more than 10 years now. They have managed to create this lovely hotel with intimate and peacefull sensation in the middle of Phnom Penh. Every time I stayed there it has been a very pleasant experience, with good staff that has been working for many years in the hotel so for loyal customers it kind of feels like home after a while. Not only the rooms are affordable, clean and well equiped but the local and western food is delicious.

Lovely hotel and very helpful owners. Decent sized quiet room & the pool area is delightful. Short tuk tuk ride to all attractions. Fantastic mojitos! It was my husband’s birthday while we were there and they did a cake & candle for him which was a really nice touch.

Cool hotel in Phnom Phen. The hotel is based just few meter far from the entrance of the National Museum. Room are big enough and so cleaned. Shower works perfectly. Stuff is do kindly and polite. Breakfast is good. Definitely recommend it if you are in Vientiane
