As of late 2016 this place shut its doors. This was my go to place so when my taxi rocked up and it was no longer there, I was pretty disappointed. Was a good little guesthouse with great owners. I know they were planning to open another guesthouse somewhere. Wish them good luck.

I stay here whenever I go to Phnom Penh, first stay was in 2008, my most recent was in 2016. It's a great location close to buses and restaurants right on the river front. Owners are great people and very trustworthy. Yes, they will turn off the AC when you go out, coz electricity is expensive and it's a complete...

We had a room at the backside, which was clean and quiet, but a bit tiny and windowless. Beds were comfortable, bathroom okay, and AC worked well. Only thing that bothered was the cigarette smell in the room. The location is great, right at the riverfront and 2 min walk from the drop-off point of most buses and minivans. Staff...

After a day of sitting on the bus from Ho Chi Minh City, we just wanted to find a nearby room from the bus stop. We found this little gem and got a good price. $15/night with ac and hot water! The staff was pretty polite to us and made our experience very positive!

Stayed here for the 4th time in the last year. Great location overlooking the river and close to all PP has to offer. Great value for your money. Family owned and operated. Make sure you request a room with a balcony or it will not be as nice anf not worth the stay. Most of the balcony rooms have recently...

I don't review normally, for i am fairly easy going when it comes to hotels in Asian, for i have lived here for 7yrs , , OMG this is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in, in all my times. They go into your room and turn air con off constantly, even asked 5 times to keep on for...

Staff were incredibly rude. They acted as if our business was an inconvenience to them. They tried to give us a prison cell room with no window and mildew for 20.00 USD a night. Phnom Penh is notorious for very poor quality guesthouses and this is one of them. If you do insist on staying here - choose room 301....

If you don't have anything else booked then the Waterview will do. I stayed in a room with no windows and it was clean and quiet with a good aircon and tv. Staff seemed a bit disorganized and the building could use a face-lift. You can book various forms of transportation from there.

I found this place quite by chance when I was booking a bus ticket to Sihanoukville. I got speaking to the manager and he said they had rooms starting at $15.For me the riverside is the best part of town so when I got back from Sihanoukville I made a beeline for this place. The room was quite small with...

We stayed at the Waterview Guesthouse. We opted for a double private without a window to save a few £'s. The guest house was in a good location as the name suggests it is right on the Mekong River and close to the Palace, market and lots of bars and restaurants. On check in we were shown to a large...

“Small windowless rooms on 2nd floor good for morning sleep in. Riverfront balcony good value, but noisier.”

“Room 301 is the best for value. Less noise and nice balcony with river view. High enough up that its less noisy but if you have bad knees or can't handle stairs you are SOL.”
