After checking out a few places on the river I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this one had an elevator unlike some others. The hotel lobby is very impressive with its white walls and soft coloured lighting, unlike anything else on the river front. Check in to the hotel was smooth and barely took any time. I selected a...

As soon as you step in off the street you enter a place of calm.....good jazz music played in the lobby restaurant/bar. We were welcomed to our room by courteous and attentive staff. We had questions on our trip to Cambodia and the staff got us the answers in a smiling manner. Rooms were fantastic. We stayed a few days...

How happy were we when we found the Quay. An Oasis of calm and charm in hot dusty but exciting Phnom Penh. Our first night was in the standard room. We we prepared for no windows, but what a cool room and great for the price. Natural light was ample. The Suites are something else. Think London, Sydney, New York....

No windows in room, blood stains in various places, and yellow smearing stains all over the inside of the closet. It also smelt very strongly of damp/mould. We were so disgusted that we didn't stay more than 10mins. Manager has refused to respond on the very poor standard and supporting photographs. Absolutely the worst hotel we have seen in a...

This hotel should be great. It has a fantastic location, tastefully decorated and superb rooms,(we stayed in one of the penthouses). However, the service was truly awful. Phones went unanswered, instructions simply misunderstood, had to carry our own luggage (whilst the employees crowded around a laptop). We were given wrong advise (it was the Kings funeral week) about when and...

When I arrived (hard to find the hotel as no sign that says hotel; you must enter thru a restaurant) at this hotel opposite the Ton le sap river and a block from the Royal Palace, I was told that I was in a room with no windows; half of the rooms are that way. When I was offered a...

I arrived at The Quay at 8pm to check into my room after a long day travelling across Cambodia. The receptionist let me say goodbye to my driver knowing that I had no room at the hotel. Five minutes later he eventually informed me of this. "The room you were due to stay in has a fault in the bathroom....

As soon as we walked into the room, we were greeted with the strong aroma of lemongrass. Very refreshing. Good room, excellent bathroom. Breakfast was also very good. Location is great, you can pretty much walk to anywhere in the city, though there are always a plethora of tuk tuks waiting for you outside if you're feeling lazy.

We were in february 2011 in the quay. We made a reservation with a transfer from the airport. Everything worked out. We had a room at the street side and it was a bit noisy but that was not a problem. The room was very good and spacious. On the roof was a very nice bar and breakfast was also...

This hotel looks like it has been totally renovated. Our suite was excellent, very large with a hugh bathroom ( bathtub and shower ), there was a great work area as well as a separate sitting area. The sound insulation was fantastic as we did not hear any noise from the busy street below. Breakfast was excellent and was a...
