We visited during Ramadan which was an interesting experience. Being a strictly Muslim country, food is not consumed between sunrise and sunset so breakfast was served in a conference room with the windows blacked out out of respect. It was also a Friday, meaning that everything in Brunei shuts from 12 til 2 for prayer. The hotel were very accommodating...

We had a horrible experience here. We should have known based on the price that there was a lot wrong and there certainly was. We had problems with the airport pick up, with the receptionist, with the manager, with everybody associated with this place. The bed was totally un-sleepable which is a crime in our book. Absolutely do not even...

The good... Staff were very friendly, always had a smile. Airport transfer was good, although I could not see my name as the man had it taped to the window next to the door, while on his phone. You always look for someone holding the sign. I booked months prior and requested a high floor and view of the market,...

Great location close to the water taxis. Rooms were very nice. The front desk were very helpful in suggesting sites to see. Hotel offered room service and food was good and reasonably priced. The front desk also mailed our postcards since the post office was closed. Very lovely staff. Note this is a dry country and there is not a...

Checked in for a night for a working event, I came at 2 PM so the room was ready then. Staff didn't say much when I was at the reception counter, signed a paper and off to my room. Room: Cozy, very clean, small (but enough), power plugs everywhere. AC was fluctuating between making the room slightly stuffy or really...

All of the staff were very kind. Specially on one breakfast, they made sure to wait til we finished eating. The room was enough for 2 people. This is a business hotel so office desk was available. On our first day, the front desk manager was very kind enough to let us use their phone for free as we had...

Centrally located. More than adequate for an overnight stay between flights. Staff allowed us a complimentary later check out which was welcome. Concierge was helpful. Walking distance to main attractions although city does not offer much of real interest.

Away from the hustle bustle of the new town, Brunei Hotel is very central to all the historical sites of Bandar Seri Begawan, the capital city of Brunei Darussalam. The staff are friendly. Hotel is small but well kept. Breakfast area is small but food was excellent. Water temperature can be a bit of a problem. If you have a...

Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms, good central location close to banks, restaurants, malls & the bus station. Taxis need to be booked as usually none waiting outside, but that is the norm in BSB. Good breakfast buffet & reasonable serving times.

Room: the seating is comfortable as are the beds. The bathroom is a decent size - good shower. I don't feel like I'm tripping over my things or my family in the room like I do in some hotel rooms. The staff: everyone is lovely. They seem like a tight group with a goal of doing good work and delivering...
