This is the only hostel in BSB in Brunei and it's okay. The reception is not always open, so you might have to wait to check in. But the rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable. Just keep in mind that males and females have to stay in separate rooms.

I stayed at Pulia for one night on July 15th, and for $10 the accommodation is just fine. Close to BSB centre and bus station, clean sheets, AC in the room. There are no other backpacker budget options. And yes, you definitely have to be cruisy with check in times. I arrived at 4:30pm but he wasn't back until 7pm,...

We waited outside for 2 hours waiting for the reception to open; just to be told they "lost" all the keys to all the rooms and we had to stay somewhere else. Upon arriving to our new location we met a guy who tried to stay there yesterday and was told they were full. Awful dodgy operation, don't recommend unless...

Arguably one of the cheapest hotel you can find anywhere in the region though you would have to be prepared to wait for the person in charge to let you in and give you the key! Anyway, the location is good as it is within a 10 min walk to town and they do have a small eatery downstairs where...

If the beds would be better and the bathrooms better cleaned then this place would be a four star for sure. The dorms are with 4 beds but the beds are so old that they move a lot and you always think that they might collapse everytime you move. The bathrooms could be cleaned more often. Apart from that the...

Location is good, easy to go to everywhere, there is a bus station nearby and water village is very close from the hostel! Staffs are very funny and helpful but not easy to find them :( The public area is very comfortable, room with A/C and the bed is big enough!! Highly recommend!!

i paid only 10 brunei dollar per night for a separate (men - women) dorm with AC. that's the cheapest accomodation around there, i think. just~dont expect too much like you'll get an excellent services. the staff there a lil bit hard to be found. but, since that youth hostel also located in the heart of city and near from...

Positive: only 10 dollar a night, every traveler gets his private dorm, decent WIFI, a swimming pool next door for only 1 dollar, good location & AC in the rooms. If you are lucky and finally meet someone of the staff, you‘ll find out that they are very nice. Cons: 8 travelers and I waited an entire day before someone...
