Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As previous reviews the rooms are massive. Almost a presidential suit. Large bathrooms with walk in shower. Generous balcony overlooks street below. TV was not working but I wasn't interested. Wi Fi was OK in room. For some reasons the power sockets never held the plugs in but that might of been the weight of my adaptor. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Never used the spa or gym as men was not allowed at the time I wanted to use it. Location is not so good and a 15 minute walk to the metro. Reception was helpful and friendly Overall for the price this is a great hotel. The minus points are far outweighed by the positive. There is a supermarket next door for any drinks or late night snacks.

A short trip to Azerbaijan- Land of Fire, was an eye opener about the post USSR era. Baku, by the Caspian Sea has wonderful boulevard and splendid Architectures all around. Yanardag is a flaming example in this oil rich country. Shahdag ski resort was “icing “ on the trip, with tourists and locals actively enjoying the snow. Azerbaijani cuisines and beverage are equally good as hospitality of locals.. Toured with Premier Tour whose guidance was very good, with special mention of Mr Roshan( guide), Mr Ruston, Ms Mehriban ( tourism consultant) and Ms Gunel ( premier expo hotel reception).

The room was completely different what I had seen in photos in booking.com. Furnitures were old. It was just two bed in a four bed room. two of them were flat spring. The outlets and faucets had to be fixed. All tv channels had noise Don’t reserve “dinner included” rooms . The room wasn’t soundproof but it was calm. The staff were kind and tried to solve our problems although the problems were infrastructure and they couldn’t do anything . Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it.There were taxis ready in front of the door with very low prices. A grocery market was beside the hotel. The room was warm and clean. If you want to stay for few days , there is good.

positives: size of the rooms; not too far from subway (15 minutes walk), negatives: smelly hallways, rooms and bathrooms; some parts (especially in bathrooms) falling apart; apparently guests smoke freely in nonsmoking rooms; fungus in shower corners; dirty walls; dirty carpets. even though meals prepared for the breakfast were somehow tasty, they were allways cold (experienced 3 bkfasts)
