Very nice and authentic (though not really cheap) place (which will hopefully resist townplanners threatening to destroy the few remaining old/historic buildings, like Villa Delenda), right in the compact centre of Yerevan. Safe area (also at night), close to restaurants and shops, around 15 minutes drive (max. 2.000 AMD) to the airport. Since early this month, they do accept credit...

Well placed near the centre of Yerevan and we had a large comfortable room although it was a little noisy being close to the front door and outside traffic. Thicker curtains would have helped keep the street lamps from shining through. Breakfast was delicious with superb yoghurts and fruit compotes. Staff were very pleasant and helpful

Other reviewer's adjectives are true: charming, characterful, cute. You will feel good about supporting them. It was a bit confusing figuring out how many beds and what KIND of beds come in a room (ie. 2 twins, 2 doubles, etc). I booked a twin room (2 twin beds) for me and my dad for 2 nights. We had the Surmali...

We visited their sister hotel in Gyumri before staying at Villa Delenda. Both hotels are part of an urban renewal program, where they renovate an old building and teach craftwork to locals, selling the crafts in an onsite shop. The hotel itself is charming and warm and the room we had (Erebuni) was large, we'd give the hotel a solid...

This is a very old world B&B style hotel in a very good location a few moments walk from Opera Square in Central Yerevan. The hotel has a charming library with books in a variety of European languages. There are good restaurants in the same street. The rooms are clean, the a/c effective. Only negative is that I found it...

Very nice villa with character and atmosphere. Well located in the center of Yerevan but think twice before booking daily trips with them! We booked three daily trips through them and all three times something went wrong. First time the driver didn't take us to one of the pre-agreed locations. Second time he missed the stop and when we realized...

If you are looking for a non-Western, non-chain 'big name' hotel with some old-world charm, I suggest Villa Delina. Remember, this is not a full service hotel, it's an inn/B&B. If you are an Italian speaker (si parla italiano) the Villa contains the Italian-Armenian Language Institute (L'istituto Italo-Armeno) and hotel staff speak Italian and English. I booked my room with...

Hotel Villa Delenda was perfect. My room was beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was amazing. The location was perfect, I walked to all the sights I wanted to see in Yerevan. I am a woman traveling alone and this hotel felt safe and secure. It's also in a beautiful location, right across the street from a park. My room was...

Villa Delenda is an old-style Armenian villa about one block from Republic Square. I loved the old style rooms of this hotel. Upon check-in, I was given the option of two rooms, and saw that each room was decorated and styled differently with antique and/or ethnic furniture. The 8 rooms at Villa Delenda are named after ancient Armenian cities and...
