The service at the desk was ok and some of the staff were friendly. Rooms were beautifully air conditioned and cleaned well. The bar is reasonably priced and the restaurant too. The buffet breakfast was lovely but the wifi was horrible. It didn't work in my room and if it randomly connected it would be extremely slow. I sat in...

Here on an intrepid tour and i think the only good thing about the hotel is the hot shower and air conditioning The pool resembles a green murky lake with to much chlorine The buffet breakfast was all cold except for the fresh omelette If you are on a super tight budget and only staying one night it will probably...

Upon arrival, there was no toilet paper, no TV remote, no runner door in the shower area and the room smelt like mould. Worst of all the restaurant had rats running through the dining area, so refused to eat there.

- poor customer service - very overage rooms, tidy but not clean - other than the imperial place/city there was nothing to do around the hotel, you'd be required to get a taxi to anything. - not sure in the attached restaurant was theirs or not, but it was a struggle for service just to get a beer, didn't bother...

we just stayed there for 1 night (thankfully). Not sure when they last cleaned the room. bathroom was a little dirty and having hair from previous visitors on the floor and spiderwebs on the mirror. I usually have a strong stomach; breakfast was poor, covered with ants and diarrhea included.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during a recent tour of Vietnam, and, having read some of the reviews before our stay, our expectations were low. However, we were quite pleasantly surprised with the hotel and I think that it represents good value for the price. The hotel is located right next to the Citadel which is very...

We were only in Hué for two nights and manly for visting the Emperial Enclosure - and you can't get a hotel nearer than this. Only 5 minutes of walking to the main entrance. But is it an old hotel. Our doors and windows could close completety (doors and windows gapping when closed and locked). There is an restaurant with...

The Vietnamese summer is really hot and we wanted a hotel with the swimming pool, to cool off at the end of the day; that is why we chose this one despite the bad comments. The hotel is exactly as described by the guests: ok for the price but old and with a lot of things to be improved. The...

Decent size room and amenities work but as per some other comments there's parts of the place that are looking very tired (like the pool area. Pool itself is OK) Had an issue where the verandah door kept swinging open despite multiple attempts to firmly close it, which had the unwanted benefit of letting wildlife into the room... Nice quiet...

Stayed here as part of an intrepid tour. It's in a great location right by the citadel (although a lot of restaurants and shops are across the river, a taxi ride) and has a nice pool and great cafe /bar with good coffee, where locals congregate. However the hotel is in need of some TLC. The furnishing is outdated, not...
