This is a very basic place indeed. I give it an extra star because of the price. Rooms are pretty shabby and it's the luck of the draw whether you get basic shabby or extra shabby. Four of us stayed and one room was ok. The aircon works so that's a positive. Food in restaurant is very average but is...

On arrival the receptionist asked for my passport and gave me a key no hello directions to my room, when I asked for directions she rudely pointed to the lift, ok walking from the lift to my room the carpet had more damp patches than carpet. The room had two things going for it a nice skyline view of the...

The rooms are basic but fine and clean. Since it is an old hotel in the centre of HCMC, you can hear all the noise from outside in your room. The beds are hard, but this seems normal in Vietnam. The included breakfast is very basic, but fine.

We stayed here for one night at the end of our Intrepid tour and then got the heck out for our last 3 nights in the city. We found a way better place for a quarter of the price. Rooms are huge but awful. Bathroom is in desperate needs of repair and deep cleaning. When we turned on the shower,...

This Hotel is in a fabulous spot in D1 , but that's it. The hotel is old and in need of a full update , my room was filthy and the bathroom full of moldy silicon . I asked to be moved and was then offered a room of the same dirty standard. I was there for 3 nights ,...

Normally you get what you pay for, but this place is not worth it at any price. We were part of an Intrepid tour and so we had to stay here. So be warned that many tour groups come through this place and you should go elsewhere if you are an independent traveller. For all the money they make out...

This place has extremely basic accommodation. I only stayed here because this was where the Geckos Adventure tour started. The room had very little ventilation and seemed extremely dusty, dirty and old. Even after opening the window, I still found it hard to breathe. Luckily I didn't have any problems with bed bugs like previous reviewers, but I didn't feel...
