We were very impressed with the hotel. We requested a quiet room and that is what we got. Room 715 in the new wing looks into an internal courtyard and is away from the traffic noise and elevators. The room was spacious with plenty of storage space. It had a separate bath tub and a large walk in shower. We...

We stayed 2 nights in the old wing, family of 5 with 3 young kids. The rooms were expansive and charming. The hotel is well located in the heart of the fashionable area of Saigon. However the hotel staff were mostly abrasive and unhelpful, particularly after we checked out on our last day and wanted to use the hotel as...

Beautiful rooms. Breakfast was ok, spread far and wide across an expansive room. nothing quite hot, nothing quite cold. function room was the venue for our galah farewell dinner. what a joke. We were not allowed to order the wine we had been drinking at the pool bar, instead we were reduced to buying wine from their "function wine list"...

Stayed in a senior delux room of 9F in new wing for 4 nights. Good: No river view but the city view was pretty good with Saigon Sky Deck & Union Square lightings yet no noise from the street. The bathroom was great with a big bath tub & a seperate shower booth, good king size bed, clean & functional...

I was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Saigon and have no hesitation in recommending it. The location couldn't be better and we walked to the restaurants of our choice in the area. Our 11th floor room was very pleasant, nicely appointed and the housekeeping was very efficient. The hotel had a good traditional feel to it and...

We had an old wing room that was spacious and nice. There was quite some street noise and construction though. Pool was nice and staff seemed friendly. Breakfast was plentiful too! Location was great for us in the district. We walk everywhere generally, but taxis also seemed plentiful. Lots of great little coffee shops close by and an excellent beer...

For us the 2 times stay in one week were both disappointing. The rooms in the new wing / high floors are OK. But with the "French" "cuisine" rooftop dining, only the view was nice; the food was far away from cuisine and any average restaurant in any country does better. The breakfast is average and the breakfast staff was...

We stayed 3 nights at the Grand Hotel and were disappointed. First a very unprofessional check in; the receptionist was not talking to us at all, her private calls and messages were more important. We booked a Deluxe Suite and didn't get the booked room without notice. The rooms we got were in th new wing, which is just not...

Just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights over Christmas period. Had twin room for our teenagers, and a king room along the corridor for my wife and I. Great location for walking to most local sights. A great array of restaurants also within easy reach. Staff very helpful and friendly, and a good tour desk. Pool area was good...

My family and I stayed here for two nights in the old wing. The room badly needs to be updated /modernized. Power outlets were rare and inconveniently located. Light switches in master bedroom were only on one side of the bed. Very little closet space. Some drawers were locked shut and could not be used. Breakfast had a big variety...
