A sanctuary in busy Ho Chi Minh City! We stayed twice in Ma Maison; at the beginning of our trip, and because we liked it so much we decided to stay there our last 2 nights too.
It is a small hotel run by a...More
We spent three nights at Ma Maison and we loved it for so many reasons: it is quiet but not boring, clean but not clinical, very comfortable but not deluxe, away from touristic District 1 but well connected to it. Just what we were looking...More
We stayed four nights in Ma Maison Boutique Hotel and it was just perfect. From the warm welcome over amazing Pho for breakfast there was absolutely nothing we could criticize. The staff was always really helpful and even got us dinner from a restaurant on...More
We loved Ma Maison. This hotel, although humble in some respects, is charming and restful - which is what you need in Saigon after a day downtown. It is embedded in a relatively quiet residential enclave, nestled into a frantically busy network of shops, markets...More
We were a little nervous when our taxi dropped us off at an alley, but all worries diminished when we got to Ma Maison, which was a short walk through the alley -- in retrospect, the alley actually adds to the Saigon experience! The staff...More

I don't think they do transfers, however the taxi system at the airport is great and as long as you have the address you will be fine. My only piece of info you must know is the taxi won't be able to get you to the door as the hotel is in an alley. Don't freak out the alley is full of families and is super safe. Trust me the hotel is fabulous and the staff will do everything they can to make your stay memorable and fuss free. Enjoy

The hotel is in District 3, we got the bus no 65 if I recall, into the city the bus stop is beside the park (I'll talk about the park at the end) on the main road just 5 minutes from the hotel, Tom who is especially sweet insisted he took us to the bus stop. You can take a taxi however the traffic is crazy. The tunnels as per previous info. We did eat locally to the hotel and it was where locals ate. Noodles, veg, chilli garlic affair. We also took a taxi nearer the centre and ate at lovely vegetarian restaurant called Hum.
The park, my husband and I went early in the morning 6.00am and the different activities that were going on was fantastic to see. Well worth a stroll around the little oasis among the frenetic scene outside the park.
Happy travels. X
