Friendly staff speaking good English. We stayed here for three nights. We paid 11 USD for a clean room with airco and private bathroom, on the 4th floor. Located in a little ally but location on Tripadvisor is accurate enough. For the first nights in Vietnam it was a good start, although the neighborhood is quite touristy and crowded.

Thankfully I stayed here at the end of my Vietnam visit, having been to Saigon previously. It is situated in a fun part of town, with great bars and restaurants. Unfortunately there are better hotels for a comparable price. The rooms feel like cells, and the bathrooms are basic. It is impossible to escape the damp. Better accommodation can be...

We took just one night as a quick and cheap sleepover and had no problems. Clean, basic...only a bit tricky to find (from the main street, go under a modest blue sign with 219 number, then straight, straight, right and left through narrow alley).

Location Its deep at the end of a very quiet alley, so you'll need to hunt around for it. However the alley opens up on a very happening and bustling street filled with shops, restaurants and nightlife. Short walk to the Ben Thanh district and very convenient. Service The staff are absolutely horrendous. The hotel had an overbooking problem and...

Just spent 3 nights in the Thuan Duc Hotel. To be fair this is the my first Hotel in Vietnam after spending 3 weeks in Cambodia so its difficult for me to make like for like comparisons. Pros: Excellent location that really contributed to my enjoyment of Saigon. The atmospheric lanes may be a little intimidating to some, especially at...

Hotel was in a very good location. Room was ok but had ants and bed was very not comfy. Internet was average. Only bad thing was having to take shoes of every time we went to room which was more an annoyance than anything else.

We have just left Saigon after 3 days. This motel was a great place to start our trip in Vietnam. Close to great eating areas and tour booking places in the middle of district 1. A short walk down the alley to a fantastic park were you can sit and watch. The room was clean and the aircon worked well....

Hotel is located in the alley between Pham Nhu Lao and Bui Vien so it is not crowded and it is pretty quiet. From Bui Vien get into alley number 84 (next to Air Asia sign). We were allowed to leave our baggage and have a shower in the evening before our take off.
