We have stayed in plenty of cheapish accommodation throughout Vietnam which I felt provided for us much better. Pros: they recommended tours and booked them for us. Did an airport pickup up (not too cheap though). Booked bus tickets. Includes decent breakfast. Cons: You have to remove your shoes, but the stairs were dirty. We found a cockroach on our...

Stayed 02 nights in late December..Initially we got 4th floor room...no elevators.. staff helped us to carry baggages there..Then we requested another room in lower floor...they were kind enough to arrange a room in 2nd floor when it vacant and they carried our baggages there too. Had a nice time at Cu Chi Tunnel with the tour operator they recommended...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Based in a little alley ( the calmest alley in hcmc!) off the main - excellent location for the backpacker area. Our room was on the 4th floor (no lift, but that didnt bother us) and was to a good clean standard. Very comfortable beds in a decent sized room. Breakfast is a little on...

We are backpacking (well technically were are wheeling our packs on nifty little wheels but anyway. . .) we booked this for our 3 day exploration of HCMC. It's in the 'backpackers area' but it's off down a side street so you can't hear the bars, people etc. We were originally given a room on the 5th floor but we...

Initially booked 2 nights here as its slightly above our usual budget, but we ended up staying for five nights because the location was great and the staff were very helpful. They were able to help us book tours (including 10% discount), provided a laundry service and advised us on bus services for moving on. The rooms were very clean...

Location is good when you're into the touristic stuff and nightlife. Spot the local plastic chairs for cheap beer. The guesthouse is close to a few main attractions of the city (notre dame, war museum). The room... Well, not clean and no windows but fine when you're okay with back to basic. We had a long trip, so this was...

Stopped here for 3 nights while passing through Hoi Chi Minh city. Super location, very clean, and very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on the top floor at the front of the hotel(requested after seeing another review) and it was very quiet however be aware that you have 5 flights of stairs to climb which we didn't mind at...

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is located within the backpacker-center, but comparatively quiet as it is in a traffic free side street. Staff mostly friendly, room was clean and ok, breakfast just a bun and fruits but ok for the price.

I stayed here for two weeks when I first moved to Vietnam. Because of this longer-than-usual stay, they offered me a good discount (15%) and what they said was their biggest, nicest room. After seeing it, I believed them. It was lovely, clean, quiet, secure and very comfortable. All rooms - and even reception - are upstairs and there is...

We stayed there for 2 nights and took a tour they provided to Mekong delta (one day trip, which was about $13 - they also have one for $8 or a two day trip for ~$20) Rooms were clean and shower with hot water. Staff was very friendly and helpful with the organisation of the trip and the bus ticket...
