We highly recommend the Elizabeth Hotel . Its location in the old town is ideal if you want to explore that area by foot, the rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable (we stayed in one of the suites) and the service is excellent. Good value for the price.I highly recommend this Hotel. Great location in the old Quarter with everything...

I am writing this at 5:45 sitting on a park bench, feeling like a hobo as I am sitting here with my backpack.I am sober, but incredibly tired and my anger is hard to put into words. I just arrived in Hanoi with a night bus and made my way to the 'hotel'. The background of me going there, is...

Ok it wasn't the best, but i wasn't the worst. For the price that I paid it was good, for the great localisation (30 minutes to the Vietnam Airline office for the bust to the Noi Bai airport, 15 to Hoam Lake and 5 to the old quarter). The room was ok for me, clean, enough big and comfortable. I...

Stayed here after being directed from Friendly Backpacker's Hostel as they were full. Ended up staying all 3 times we were in Hanoi. For $9 for a double room, its the cheapest in the area (I think). Great location, with hot water and air con. Rooms were pretty clean, as much as you can expect for the price.

Although this place is cheap there are other places around much nicer for the same price. Manky rooms, mouldy and just plain dirty. Can't believe we stuck the night. Staff were unhelpful and didn't even chance the breakfast because I value my life!

Have read some of the horror stories on other reviews here. My experience was not that bad but he hotel was ok, cheap and aimed at backpackers/budget travellers. Would agree with the opinions of staff, vey nice and helpful to get you in, afte that forget about it.

Save yourself the pain and just avoid it altogether. At first glance it looks reasonable, $12 for a double room in the heart of the old quarter. But at closer inspection we found bed bugs in the sheets! We were checked out within minutes. I don't mind slumming it but this was just unacceptable. Don't stay here.

After waiting for 3hours for 3 double rooms we found out that there will be only one room for 4people and one double room. Room was not in bad condition but we had to pay each one same price as if we were in double room. Staff is the other story, firstly they are kind and willing to help for...

This place is infested with rats. Sadly the staff of this hotel are even worse than the presence of vermin. We had been in our damp, mouldy room for under an hour when we first heard, and then saw rats run across our room. The hotel refused to give us a refund despite the fact that the room was in...
