Beautifully designed and furnished appearance but with notable faults and disappointments. As a boutique hotel, this place is charming and charismatic but lacks certain features that you'd expect from a Vietnamese hotel. Firstly, the rooms were a little scuffed when you looked closely and the balconies were filthy. Secondly, they advertised wifi but our room didn't pick anything up. The...

We pick Wild Lotus hotel for few days visting Hanoi, reasonable prize and a room with nice view to West Lake. The service is also good with friendly staff, they show us many interesting and beautiful places that we should come. You should take this hotel on your list.

For people staying in Tay Ho who do not want to shell out $100+ at the Sheraton or Intercon, the Wild Lotus provides a decent budget option in a great location where guests can find lots of restaurants, grocery options, and assorted shops within meters of the hotel entrance. Make no mistake, this is a no frills older property and...

This was our first time to stay in the West Lake area of Hanoi. We chose the Wild Lotus on the recommendation of a friend who said it was an "OK" hotel. The location is good and it has many possibilities that could move this from an OK hotel to a good hotel. The lobby is cold and unattractive. Our...

The photos on their website look great but believe me they are not, after seeing the room i contacted expedia who i booked...

Staid in the small room without a window. Felt like a bunker. Everything pretty moist. Service was very bad (apart from the girl in the lobby) It was around 50USD which is expensive in Hanoi. Not many cheap alternatives in Tay Ho though, so I suggest to pay a bit more and stay in a better hotel or stay closer...

I stayed here for two weeks as the hotel was very convenient for my office, room was very spacious & comfortable. The breakfast was satisfactory & the staff very helpful. The room was always spotless.

Recently, my wife and I spent three nights at the Wild Lotus Hotel. If you want to be in the Tay Ho District of Hanoi and on West Lake, this hotel is a great location. Otherwise, the only other opportunity for me to use the word "great" to describe the Wild Lotus is when it comes to the front desk...

Stayed 1 night (thankfully) and unfortunately had a bad experience. Room was not clean (hair and dust in the bathroom, dust in the woodwork). The linen and towels have been washed in something with a very very intense lemon smell, like someone spilled the whole bottle of washing up liquid. hot water didn't work, nor did tv or the phone...
